Description

The invention relates to a device for wet treatment in ultrasound therapy, in particular dermatology and paronyhia with the features according to the preamble of claim 1.

From EP-A-0 320 444 a device is known which comprises an electronic part for controlling at least one ultrasonic vibrator. The ultrasonic transducer is arranged in a pot-shaped handheld transducer housing. A membrane is placed in front of the ultrasonic transducer. The device known from EP-A-0 320 444 is used for diagnostics, in particular for the detection of tumors.

Bath units are known for ultrasound therapy in the form of liquid containers with built-in ultrasound transmitters, which units are used for treatment when the diseased parts of the body are immersed. Depending on Trough size, these units can be used stationary or mobile, as shown, for example, by EPA 0 301 162. This improves the circulation and cleansing of the parts of the body to be treated and thus the healing effect. However, these bathing units have the disadvantage of being bulky and bulky; They require a corresponding amount of space and are therefore suitable for therapy institutions and less for private use. In addition, there are already small devices in the form of foot tubs for wet treatment.

The task is to create a handheld device for versatile mobile use, which in connection with an existing tub can serve the same purposes with the same efficiency with wet treatment.

The device for wet treatment in ultrasound therapy is distinguished by the fact that the edge of the open hand-held vibrator housing located downstream of the membrane is provided with openings. When immersed in a liquid, a liquid cushion forms in the open hand-held vibrator housing, delimited by the perforated edge. Through this liquid cushion, the ultrasonic vibrations can be transmitted when placed on the treatment site immersed in a liquid container. The device is preferably used in the frequency range between 30 to 80 kHz, in particular at 50 kHz.

According to FIG. 1 in accordance with the exemplary embodiment, the device consists of an electronic part 1 with a lead 1a to the ultrasonic vibrator 2a in the handheld vibrator housing 3a with a handle 5a pivotably provided at 4a. The housing 3a is made in a cylindrical shape from stainless steel with a waterproof stainless steel membrane 6a, sealed by means of a silicone ring 6c, behind which the oscillator 2a is arranged. The membrane 6a is followed by an edge 7a provided with openings. In the illustrated embodiment, the edge 7a of the housing 3a is wave-shaped. When placed at the treatment point placed in a liquid container, the sound vibrations are thus transmitted via the water cushion located through the edge of the housing with side openings. As a result of the wave edge, a good swirling of water forms, which leads to a quick treatment success.

According to FIG. 2, a pivotable handle 5a is provided on the pot-shaped hand-held vibrator housing 3a, specifically on the housing base, which is between the slotted ones Segment receptacle 10 with inserted plastic segment 11, which is pivotally held in the segment receptacle 10 with side connectors 12, is screwed in as a handle bolt 13. In its pivoted position, the handle bolt 13 can be fixed in its pivoted position by further screwing in down to the base 14 of the segment receptacle 11.

Instead of a stainless steel housing, a housing made of elastic material such as rubber or plastic can also be used, which can also be formed in one piece with the membrane.
