Abstract
Description
DE-A- 537 686).The invention relates to a cutting crown according to the preamble of
In the case of such cutting crowns, it is known to shape the teeth from the full base body while leaving narrow tooth gaps, and to provide them with an application made of wear-resistant material at the wear points and to grind them with sharp edges. It is also known to provide cutouts on the free end face of the base body and to weld suitably forged teeth into them and to optionally provide these with a special hard coating on the tooth edges and / or end faces.
These cutting crowns are very expensive to maintain both when they are first manufactured, and in particular because of their relatively large and rapid wear, depending on the nature of the soil. This applies both in the event that the necessary repair work is carried out on site, where work usually has to be carried out under difficult conditions, and in the event that the cutting crown is used for Repair and restoration of the perfect condition is spent in a workshop with its better work opportunities.
From DE-A 25 39 707 a milling drum for road milling machines is also known, with recesses into which interchangeable milling teeth are inserted, and which is characterized in that the recess consists of an inwardly tapering lower and an upper, in cross-sectional dimensions Consistent part, which ends on the outer surface of the roller, and that the milling tooth consists of a lower conical in the frustoconical part of the recess and an upper part which has a cross-section matching the cross section of the upper part of the recess.
Such an arrangement of interchangeable teeth would not be possible on the comparatively thin-walled end face of a tubular drill bit because the end region of the drill bit weakened by bores would break out under operating load and lead to the drill bit failing.
The present invention has for its object to provide a cutting crown which allows the necessary maintenance or repair work to be carried out with relatively simple means and quickly on site, and in which the teeth in the very limited wall thickness of the front area can be used interchangeably.
This object is achieved according to the invention in a cutting crown of the type mentioned by the characterizing features of
With the design according to the invention, it is advantageously possible to quickly and easily remove the teeth to be repaired or, under certain circumstances, all teeth from the base body of the cutting crown by releasing their connection with the sleeves and to replace them with flawless other teeth or a set of new teeth. The teeth requiring repair and repair can then be taken to the workshop for overhaul without the drilling operation being significantly disrupted.
A very important further advantage of the measure according to the invention is the possibility of quickly and easily adapting to different soil conditions on site by exchanging the teeth for a set of other teeth, wherein there is also the possibility of a large number of possible and suitable ones without great effort appearing and in particular also to use novel tooth shapes.
Exchangeable teeth used in sleeves are already known for augers and excavators, but they have correspondingly more favorable space conditions the arrangement and accommodation of the sleeve and tooth than is the case with the cutting crown according to the invention, in which only a very limited wall thickness is available for the accommodation. It was therefore feared that the teeth could not withstand the stress and, in particular, break out in the relatively rough operation to which such cutting crowns are subjected. For this reason and also because it had not been recognized that the interchangeable teeth according to the invention can be adapted advantageously and with little effort to a different nature of the soil to be drilled, the experts went to the possibility of taking the known measure in sleeves interchangeable teeth can also be used on cutting crowns, so far carelessly over.
Advantageous further developments of the invention are described in the subclaims.

The tongue-
Instead of being tongue-shaped as shown, the
According to FIGS. 2a and 2b, the one-piece tooth 4 has the
The shape of the tooth head shown in FIGS. 2a and 2b and 3 and 4 is only exemplary and can be varied in different ways. For example, the step-shaped heel 6 can be made more or less wide, or it can be dispensed with entirely. The tooth head can also have a cross-sectional shape other than that shown, depending on the type of soil for which it is to be used. Finally, in relation to the tooth tip 7, it should also be mentioned that the
According to Figures 5a and 5b, the tooth 4 is inserted with its
