Mehrstückgebinde dieser Art bieten an den Stirnseiten keine bedruckbaren Flächen, die verkaufsfördernd genutzt werden können. Überdies ist ein den Behältern aufgedruckter EAN-Code bei geeigneter Drehstellung durch die Öffnungen wahrnehmbar und von EAN-Code Lesern erfaßbar. Vielfach werden deshalb versehentlich an mit derartigen Lesern ausgerüsteten Computerkassen EAN-Codes der einzelnen Behälter anstatt der Codes der gesamten Behälterträger erfaßt. Außerdem sind schon Zehner-Pinolenkästen bekanntgeworden, bei denen in zwei Reihen jeweils fünf Pinolen angeordnet sind, wobei nur eine Trennwand in Längsrichtung zwischen den Reihen vorgesehen ist. Die Stirnlaschen werden gegen die unteren Randbereiche der Behälter gebogen, indem die Bodenlaschen unter den Bodenabschnitt geklappt werden, bis sie an diesem anliegen. Dabei ziehen die einenends an den Bodenlaschen angelenkten Stege die anderenends gelenkig damit verbundenen Stirnlaschen auf die unteren Randbereiche der Behälter zu. Beim Umklappen der Bodenlaschen werden die Stirnlaschen also automatisch gegen die Behälter gebogen, so daß das Schließen der Packung mit einer relativ einfachen Verpackungsmaschine erfolgen kann. Schließlich werden die Stirnlaschen in Anlage an den Behältern fixiert, indem die Bodenlaschen an dem Bodenabschnitt befestigt werden. Eine neuerungsgemäße Packung hat insbesondere den Vorteil, daß bei ihr die EAN-Codes der einzelnen Behälter abgedeckt sind, so daß nur die den Packungen zugeordneten Codes erfaßt werden können, solange diese geschlossen sind. Außerdem sichern die Stirnlaschen die Behälter in der Packung und verhindern ein Herausfallen. Zusätzliche Öffnungen, insbesondere zum Halten des unteren Behälterrandes müssen deshalb nicht vorgesehen werden. Die erhöhte Sicherheit und Festigkeit der Mehrstückpackung ist auch für den Abnehmer offensichtlich, so daß er beim Kauf der Packung eine besonders günstige Handhabung erwarten kann. Einen Kaufanreiz dürfte auch die besonders gefällige Optik der Packung insbesondere im Bereich der stirnseitigen Öffnungen bieten. Schließlich ist die neuerungsgemäße Mehrstückpackung durch die umgeklappten Bodenlaschen und Stege in den stirnrandseitigen Bodenbereichen verstärkt, so daß sie eine erhöhte Stabilität aufweist.A multi-piece pack according to the invention is first placed around the container in the manner of a cuff and closed on the circumference. dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Stirnlaschen (5) gegen den unteren Randbereich der angrenzenden Behälter schwenkbar sind, und daß die Stege (6) zwischen Bodenlaschen (7) und Stirnlaschen (5) bei unter den Bodenabschnitt (3) geklappten und daran - vorzugsweise durch Kleben - befestigten Bodenlaschen (7) sowie gegen die Behälter (10, 18) geschwenkten und vorzugsweise einen EAN-Code der Behälter abdeckenden Stirnlaschen (5) unten gegen die Bodenlaschen geklappt und etwa rechtwinklig von den Seitenlaschen abgeklappt sind.
