Abstract

A top surface (6), which is smooth on one face combined with a billiard game on the other face, permits, by means of turning over, the playing of games of ping-pong, ordinary billiard games, including the variants with holes (12) judiciously arranged with closure devices (14) for American pool and snooker billiard games. The orifices reserved in a closed position are cleared by means of a magnet. In an inclined position, by means of adjustment of the support frames with telescopic legs (2) we have a drawing table. In the vertical storage position, along a partition, we have a wall board for an erasable marker. <IMAGE>

The invention, the description of which is given later, is that of a table reversible table assembly allowing various uses such as:

• 1 °) ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT TABLE 6/8 place settings

• 4 °) WALL PAINTING
• 5 °) FRENCH BILLIARD
• 6 °) AMERICAN BILLIARD (POOL and SNOOKER)

• 8 °) BILLIARD GOLF
• 9 °) BILLARD PETANQUE

• a) une surface plane pour 6/8 couverts ; par l'adjonction d'un filet nous avons une table de ping-pong de dimension humaine. Par le réglage des pieds télescopiques des tréteaux nous obtenons un plateau incliné pour le dessin.
• b) par réversibilité sur les tréteaux l'autre face est destinée aux jeux de billard et leurs variantes à l'aide d'accessoires divers tels que billes, queues, obstacles .....

This set is essentially composed of:
- two foldable metal trestles adjustable in height by their telescopic legs.
- a 2-sided laminated chipboard tray, one of which has a frame with rubber band, covered with a glued stretched fabric.
- 13 blind holes judiciously distributed allow the different games of billiards and their variants by eliminating metal shutters.
- according to the arrangement of the plate on the trestles, we find:

• a) a flat surface for 6/8 covers; by adding a net we have a ping pong table on a human scale. By adjusting the telescopic feet of the trestles we obtain an inclined plate for drawing.
• b) by reversibility on the trestles the other side is intended for billiard games and their variants using various accessories such as balls, cues, obstacles .....

The removal of the shutters on the holes reserved on the table on the billiard side allows the following clearances:

• 2) with 15 numbered balls and 1 clear ball, 6 hole holes: AMERICAN BILLIARD, POOL and SNOOKER
• 3) with 6 numbered balls, 1 white ball and 3 obstacles, 8 hole holes: RUSSIAN BILLIARD
• 4 °) with 10 numbered balls, 12 obstacles, 2 through holes: BILLARD GOLF
• 5 °) with 4 to 12 balls, all holes plugged: BILLARD PETANQUE

A single set of 15 numbered balls and 1 white ball allows all billiard games and their variants. The molded resin beads have a diameter of 52 mm.

With its recommended dimensions of 1.70m by 0.93m width, this set of human dimensions, of variable and adjustable height has its place in all contemporary apartments for children, adolescents and adults of all ages.

Disassembled in the storage position on a wall or a partition, the tray conceals on shelves all the accessories necessary for different games and can then be used as a wall board with erasable marker.

DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPONENTS

For the execution of these sets it is necessary:

according to figure n ° 1:

. 2 tubular metal trestles ⌀20, comprising 1 high cross member (item 1), 4 articulated uprights with telescopic legs (item 2), 2 low cross members (item 3), 1 flail ⌀ 5 round (item 4) on the top member, 2 round lugs ⌀ 5 of 2 cm high. (item 5)

according to figures n ° 2, n ° 3 and n ° 4:

. 1 rectangular agglomerated wooden tray with laminated faces, 19 cm thick (item 6) with irocco frame (sectional plan item 7) and this on the table side 6/8 place settings. The other side is covered with a glued stretched fabric (item 8), the BILLIARDS side. The frame screwed onto the plate is in irocco (section plane, reference 7). The frame has an added fir profile (section plane mark 9), on which is bonded the rubber band for returning the balls (section cup mark 10). The corner joints are miter cut and the frame receives a layer of colorless varnish. The overall dimension of the platform is 1,700m by 0.930m width. On the frame, there are 4 lights (mark 11 section plane) sheathed in brass to hold in the pins on the high cross members of the trestles (mark 5); on this fabric-covered face, there are 13 holes 52mm in diameter and 14mm deep (item 12) including a PVC ferrule (item 13) with a plugging pad made up of a 20/10 steel washer, electro-galvanized, heated sheet (item 14) covered with a stretched and glued fabric (item 8), with guide body (item 15). The removal of the shutter is obtained by electromagnet supplied in the accessories.

This figure represents the section of the tray frame (item 7). The frame is made of irocco, the band support is made of fir (item 9) on which the rubber strip for returning the balls is stuck (item 10). The support profile (item 9) and the rubber band (item 10) are covered with glued stretched fabric (item 8).

This figure represents the storage shelf that is placed vertically against a wall or partition.

This shelf allows the storage of the reversible tray, the smooth side on the outside also forming a wall table for various inscriptions using an erasable marker.

-1) Reversible table top for simultaneous games of PING-PONG and BILLIARDS various. -2) Trestles with telescopic legs of large amplitude for variable height game tables allowing a high leveling precision perfect for ball games, and setting drawing table position -3) Ports with magnet shutters allowing various BILLARD games with pockets or holes such as AMERICAN BILLIARD (POOL or SNOOKER), RUSSIAN BILLIARD, BILLIARD GOLF. -4) Storage device allowing a reversible tray (BILLIARD, PING-PONG, to be used as a wall board, while concealing the accessories necessary for the different games that can be played.
