Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a newspaper holder for daily newspapers consisting of a holding part with a handle and a terminal block which can be placed on the holding part and connected to it releasably by means of a sliding guide, pins being provided on one of the two parts and recesses for the pins being provided on the other part.
In the German utility model 71 42 201 a newspaper holder of the generic type is already described, in which the holding part and the terminal block are held together by wire or plastic brackets and a pivot screw arranged at one end with a wing nut. A similarly designed newspaper holder is described in utility model 69 42 185, in which one bar on the inside is equipped with pointed pens and the other bar with recesses for receiving the pens for better fastening of the newspaper. The newspaper holder described in DD-PS 8221 has two terminal strips connected by parallel links, which are equipped with tongue and groove and are secured in the closed position by a bracket. The holder is done by pins on one terminal block, which are guided in angled recesses of the counter bar by a sliding process.
The known newspaper holders have the disadvantage that the one newspaper is tightened to a width of usually more than 2 cm, which means that a narrow area of the type area on the left or right edge is regularly covered, which makes reading more difficult. Experience has shown that the reader will often try to pull the newspaper out of the newspaper holder a little, which then leads to damage. The invention has for its object to provide an improved clamping of the newspaper for newspaper holders, which avoids the disadvantages mentioned and is also suitable for heavier editions of newspapers.
The object is achieved by the features specified in the characterizing part of patent claim 1. Further advantageous embodiments of the invention are listed in the subclaims. The special advantage of the new newspaper holder is that only a margin of 10 mm width is required to clamp the newspaper. The newspaper holder allows safe and firm clamping even of very heavy newspaper editions.
- Fig. 2 eine perspektivische Ansicht der Klemmleiste und
- 1 is a perspective view of the holding part of the newspaper holder,
- Fig. 2 is a perspective view of the terminal block and
- Fig. 3 is an enlarged partial view of the right section of the holding part of FIG. 1 from a different perspective.
The newspaper holder consists of a stable angular Holding part 1 (Fig. 1) and a lighter rod-shaped terminal block 2 (Fig. 2), which can be inserted into the angle of the holding part 1 and locked by a pushing movement.
The holding part 1 (Fig. 1 and 3) is an elongated angular body with a
The terminal block 2 (Fig. 2) is a rod with a rectangular cross section, which has a shorter rectangular at one
To clamp a newspaper, the holding part is placed on a table and the newspaper is inserted with its left edge onto the
