- Apparatus according to one of Claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the control cam (22) for the holding-down devices (12) is designed in such a way that, while a cigarette layer is being pushed in, the holding-down devices (12) are lifted off from the cell bottom or from an already introduced cigarette layer somewhat more than is necessary for pushing in a cigarette layer and, during the further movement of the cell (4), are pressed onto the cigarette layer last pushed in.
- Apparatus according to one of Claims 1 to 8, characterised,in that the holding-down devices (12) are adjustable outwards relative to the cell bottoms located radially on the inside.
