Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a fastening device for a transformer module and a signal transmitter for mounting on a signal mast. Fastening devices for signal transmitters on the signal mast are known per se. For example, the German utility model G 89 02 750 describes a combination holder that is used to attach a signal transmitter to a signal mast for traffic light signal systems.
Signalgebern.Since traffic light signal systems are increasingly decentralized and operated with low-voltage technology, it is necessary to convert the voltage in the area of the signal transmitter. In the previous low-voltage technology, a separate transformer with corresponding fastening was generally arranged in the respective signaling chamber for each chamber, as described, for example, in German utility model G 87 15 847. A separate terminal block with plug was required for each light signaling chamber (German utility model 87 15 848). In traffic signal systems of this type, the cabling was carried out in a star shape from the control unit node to the respective signal masts or signal transmitters.
A traffic signal system is already described in DE-OS 32 30 761, in which each signal transmitter is fed via a single two-wire line and is supplied with a separate control line for switching the individual signal lamps. This system is operated using low-voltage technology. In new traffic light signal systems, a transformer is to be used for the voltage conversion in addition to the rectifier and associated components for several signal transmitters or signal transmitter combinations, possibly for all signal transmitter combinations a signaling mast can be provided.
The object of the invention is therefore to provide a fastening device for a signal transmitter, which makes it possible to attach a power supply unit, to form a wiring or connection chamber, and to ensure a simple fastening or mounting option on the signal mast.
- a) a floor pan with a molded-on combination holder and with a receiving device for a transformer module and with a holding device and a cable opening for the signal generator forms a terminal space with a cover in which a terminal block is arranged,
- b) the transformer module is fastened with corresponding latching hooks in the receiving device to corresponding latches,
- c) the transformer module has a transformer rectifier and a feed line,
- d) the molded-on combination holder has a U-shaped cable duct area with a cable lead-through opening in the side wall of the floor pan,
- e) a cable winding device is provided in the terminal compartment,
- f) the cover is held by at least one locking lug and a locking tongue, which are formed on the floor pan and engage in corresponding recesses in the cover.
In addition to the actual signal transmitter, which generally consists of three signal transmitter chambers, the fastening device according to the invention also allows the connection of a transformer module, which carries out the voltage conversion for several signal transmitters. Furthermore, this fastening device creates a terminal space in which the supply cable is preferably clamped and the signaling cable likewise introduced there can be routed and optionally wound up.
With the combination holder molded onto the fastening device, the signal transmitter can be attached and fastened to the signal mast, either at the head end or also on a longitudinal mast, such as on the whip mast, in a tried and tested manner.
