Claims (2)

  1. Unité d'un ensemble de conditionnement d'air du type composé de deux unités séparées, ladite unité comprenant un carter (2) de forme globale parallélépipédique, un échangeur de chaleur (11) logé à l'intérieur du carter (2), un compresseur (9) monté à côté de l'échangeur de chaleur (11) à l'intérieur du carter (2) et logé dans un compartiment (18) séparé de l'écoulement de l'air, des orifices d'admission d'air (7) formés sur deux côtés contigus (3, 4) du carter (2), des orifices de décharge de l'air (8) formés dans un côté du carter (6) opposé à celui (4) des côtés présentant les orifices d'admission d'air (7),
       unité caractérisée en ce que :
    - ledit échangeur de chaleur (11) a une forme globale en U et possède trois côtés dont deux (12, 13) sont adjacents aux côtés respectifs (3, 4) du carter (2) dans lesquels sont situés les orifices d'admission (7) et un troisième côté (14) faisant face au compresseur (9);
    - une chambre (16) est située entre ledit troisième côté (14) et ledit compresseur (9);
    - ladite chambre (16) est bordée par le troisième côté (14) de l'échangeur de chaleur (11) et par une séparation (15) s'étendant du côté du carter (6) muni des orifices de décharge de l'air (8) vers le côté opposé (4) du carter (2);
    - ladite chambre (16) est ouverte auxdits orifices d'admission d'air (7) de telle façon que le troisième côté (14) du échangeur de chaleur (11) soit balayé par l'air venant de la chambre (16) qui a été admis par les orifices (7); et
    - ladite séparation (15) forme aussi une partie du compartiment (18) dans lequel est placé le compresseur (9).
  2. Unité selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que ledit échangeur de chaleur (11) est muni d'un étage additionnel (19) sur un côté (13) de ses côtés.
