Definitions
- the invention relates to an optronic visor with a target projector, which reflects a target into a radiation source and into its receiver via a beam splitter according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the Anmeiderln has become known in DE-PS 33 28 974 an axis harmonization of several interconnected optical devices, which is carried out by autocollimation via a common reflex device, on which luminous marks in the individual optical devices are reflected on themselves.
- an optronic visor has become known in which the crosshair or target mark is generated electronically and is displayed on the screen of a cathode ray tube and can thus also be used by a coupled automatic target locating and tracking device.
- the present invention builds on these axis harmonization methods and devices and has set itself the task of carrying out the harmonization of radiators and their receivers continuously and without pivoting-in optical elements and thus creating a drift-independent harmonization system.
- Lasers in various designs are required, among other things, to be able to fire so-called "beamriders” or missiles that pursue targets marked with a laser designator.
- the proposed additional active radiators create an optimally drift-independent harmonization system.
- prior art visors have not been equipped with a laser.
- prisms When aiming according to a different principle of harmonization, prisms must be swiveled in to achieve axis harmonization.
- Different embodiments of visors of the cited prior art cannot be equipped with active emitters (lasers) without the measures described below. This is not possible because active assemblies cannot be harmonized on their own, since the position of the "Line of Sight" of the active assembly is not known in the sights and there is no possibility of correcting a given filing.
- the target projector 1 reflects one Aim over a beam splitter 2 and possibly a further beam splitter 3 into a radiation source 4 and into its receiver 5 and can observe the scene by means of the device 8 and the device 9 via the beam splitters 2 and 3.
- FIG. 2 shows a schematic image of the active radiator 4.
- This consists of a radiation source 11 - which can be a laser transmitter or a laser range finder - a beam splitter cube 12 with a lens 14 and a quadrant detector 13 and forms a mechanically auxiliary unit.
- the beam splitter cube 12 is arranged in front of the exit pupil 11a of the radiation source 11.
- the lens 14 assigned to it focuses the incoming radiation from the target marker projector 1, which the beam splitter cube 12, which is provided with a filter layer, transmits onto the quadrant detector 13.
- the now continuously measurable angular position of the target marker projector beam is fed to an angle control device 16, by the control of which a pair of rotating wedges 15 is readjusted so that the incident target projector beam is always continuously adjusted to "zero".
- the optical axis of the radiator 4 is thus drift-independent and continuously held at exactly the same target point with the optical axes of several sensors or other active components.
- the rotating wedge pair 5 mentioned here can also be replaced, for example, by a mirror driven in two axes.
- the design of the radiation receiver 5 is outlined. This is constructed identically to the radiator 4, that is to say the radiation source 21, the beam splitter cube 22 with the lens 24 and the quadrant detector 23 form a mechanically fixed structural unit.
- the control of the angle control device 26 also adjusts the incident beam of the target projector 1 to “zero” in the present case, guided by the quadrant detector 23.
- the beam is directed by a mirror 25 driven in two axes.
- the radiation sources 11, 21 used in the above-described active radiators and receivers can be polarized and non-polarized laser range finders.
- the above-described measures for the design and construction of an optronic visor result in a reliable continuous and drift-independent axis harmonization of active and passive components, but there is also a considerable advantage economically through the formation of modular visor families.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an optronic visor with a target projector, which reflects a target into a radiation source and into its receiver via a beam splitter according to the preamble of
The Anmeiderln has become known in DE-PS 33 28 974 an axis harmonization of several interconnected optical devices, which is carried out by autocollimation via a common reflex device, on which luminous marks in the individual optical devices are reflected on themselves.
From DE-OS 33 38 928 of the applicant, an optronic visor has become known in which the crosshair or target mark is generated electronically and is displayed on the screen of a cathode ray tube and can thus also be used by a coupled automatic target locating and tracking device.
Furthermore, it is known from the applicant from German patent application P 37 39 698.6-51 to set up an optronic visor of the type mentioned at the outset such that a crosshair is continuously projected into sensors by a projector, that is to say also during landscape observation and based on briefly or the crosshairs are projected continuously in the respective sensor.
The present invention builds on these axis harmonization methods and devices and has set itself the task of carrying out the harmonization of radiators and their receivers continuously and without pivoting-in optical elements and thus creating a drift-independent harmonization system.
- 1 is a schematic image of the entire optronic visor with the built-in active radiator and the radiation receiver,
- 2 is a schematic image of the active radiator in its structure and composition,
- Fig. 3 is a Schemablld the active radiation receiver in its structure and composition.
Lasers in various designs are required, among other things, to be able to fire so-called "beamriders" or missiles that pursue targets marked with a laser designator. The proposed additional active radiators create an optimally drift-independent harmonization system. So far, prior art visors have not been equipped with a laser. When aiming according to a different principle of harmonization, prisms must be swiveled in to achieve axis harmonization. Different embodiments of visors of the cited prior art cannot be equipped with active emitters (lasers) without the measures described below. This is not possible because active assemblies cannot be harmonized on their own, since the position of the "Line of Sight" of the active assembly is not known in the sights and there is no possibility of correcting a given filing.
In Fig. 3, the design of the
As already mentioned, the
