Abstract

A relay is described which has a safety spring set of such a type that the contact spring sets are arranged in chambers which are freely accessible from the exterior via openings, when the cap is removed, so that manipulations can be carried out on the contact spring sets. In order to prevent broken pieces being able to pass through the openings into the other regions of the relay in the event of contact springs of the contact spring sets breaking, the cap has inwardly pointing projections which close the chamber openings when the cap is fitted.

dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in jeder Kammer (4) eine Öffnung (5) vorgesehen ist, der jeweils ein an der Haube (1) befestigter Ansatz (7) zugeordnet ist, derart, daß bei aufgesetzter Haube (1) die Öffnung (5) verschlossen ist.
