Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a relay with contact spring sets, which are held on a common spring bracket and are arranged in separate chambers, furthermore with a removable hood for the relay.
Such a relay with a so-called safety spring set is the subject of an older patent by the applicant. It has proven itself in numerous embodiments.
It was now considered to be advantageous if the chambers were opened on the front side in order to manipulate the contact spring sets through these openings or recesses. The prerequisite for this is that the hood surrounding the relay can be removed.
By opening the chambers through the recesses described, however, there is now again the risk that broken parts of the one set of contact springs can penetrate through the opening in the chamber into the opening of the adjacent chamber and that this safety concept is now canceled again.
The invention is therefore based on the object of developing a relay with a contact spring set, the chambers of the mutually separated contact spring sets being open on at least one side and having recesses so that the contact spring sets can be manipulated through the recesses without the risk that the broken part of a contact spring set can penetrate into an adjacent chamber via this recess in the spring bracket.
To achieve this object, the relay with the features mentioned at the outset is characterized in that an opening is provided in each chamber, each of which is assigned an attachment attached to the hood, such that the opening is closed when the hood is fitted.
On the inside of the hood, the lugs are arranged with their front ends at least partially engage in the recesses of the chambers.
With the given technical teaching, the essential advantage is achieved that, with the hood removed, the mutually closed chambers are accessible through the recesses in the chamber and that the contact spring sets arranged in the chambers can be manipulated through these recesses with a tool.
However, as soon as the hood is placed on the spring bracket designed in this way, the lugs, which are arranged on the inside of the hood, engage in the corresponding recesses in the chambers, so that these recesses are closed as tightly as possible by these lugs.
The conclusion should at least be such that smaller parts, which can break off in a contact spring set, cannot escape from the chamber through these recesses and at the lugs of the hood engaging in the recesses and possibly get into opposite or adjacent chambers.
A particularly advantageous embodiment consists in that the hood is transparent at least in the area of the lugs, so that one can look at the contact spring sets in the chambers from the outside (that is to say from the front) and can observe the switching state of the individual contact spring sets.
The prerequisite for this is that not only the hood is transparent, but also the lugs which are arranged on the inside of the hood and which engage in the recesses in the chambers.
In a further development of the present invention, it is preferred here if lenses are attached to the end faces of these attachments, which lenses are preferably designed as converging lenses.
The lugs are thus essentially conical or triangular in profile and carry converging lenses at their front free ends which engage in the recesses in the chambers.
This results in an enlargement effect and when viewed from above these approaches, the contact spring sets located in the chambers are shown enlarged for the eye.
An embodiment of the present invention is described in more detail with reference to the drawing.
Further advantages and features of the invention emerge from the drawing and its description.

The contacting parts of the contact spring sets 3 are arranged separately from one another in chambers 4 which are closed off from one another.
The chamber walls are formed on the one hand by the upper surfaces of the spring bracket, by the lateral surfaces of the spring bracket, by separating ribs 9 and by the lateral surfaces of the
To now the contact spring sets 3 in the chambers 4 from the outside removed
These contact spring sets 3 can be manipulated from outside with a tool through these
In order to ensure that no broken-off parts of the contact spring set can escape from the respective chamber 4, it is provided according to the invention that on the inside of the hood, opposite the
