Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a pentagon stone as a decorative plaster or plate element, in particular made of concrete or ceramic material.
The increasing expansion of pedestrian zones in inner-city business and residential areas and other surface designs of squares and sidewalks require not only large quantities of paving stones and floor slabs, but also, above all, visually appealing and good solutions.
The previous offer of paving stones or slabs concerns square, rectangular, hexagonal and also stones in some special shapes. These include, for example, composite stones with wave-like side designs or decorative paving stones, in which the side surfaces can be curved.
Since the inclusion of colored concrete blocks or slabs, the design options have expanded considerably. Nevertheless, city building authorities, architectural offices and manufacturers of such paving stones and slabs are always looking for new shapes and designs in which an optically appealing laying pattern is coupled with the easiest possible installation.
There is therefore the task of creating a new outline shape of such paving stones or slabs, which differs from the previous stones and slabs, but can nevertheless also be laid well together with known stone shapes. At the same time, the new slab or paving stone should only be able to be laid with itself - possibly with a few additional stones that compensate for the edges - and still allow irregular surface designs. Nevertheless, the manufacturability should be simple.
The solution to this problem with a pentagon stone of the type mentioned is that one eighth of the total area is spared from a square stone, concrete or ceramic slab, this recess being rectangular or an isosceles triangle.
The pentagon stone according to the invention thus practically consists of a square plate, of which only seven eighths remain after removing one eighth. Already two of these seven eighth stones or slabs put together result in a visually new and interesting laying pattern. The places of the stones or slabs where the recess is present can be joined together. A combination with conventional stones is possible if, above all, the dimension of the right-angled isosceles triangle removed is related to the dimension of such conventional stones.
The pentagonal block can thus be formed by the recess formed as a right-angled isosceles triangle, which has three right angles and two angles of 135 ° between its boundary lines.
This results in the side corresponding to the hypotenuse of the recessed or removed right-angled triangle with the the corresponding side of a second pentagon stone in the composite, the sides of the two stones lying at 135 o from the ends of the lying sides, which are at right angles to each other, have half the length of the sides of the stones lying parallel to you. This creates wine cellar rooms with right-angled boundaries adjacent to these adjacent sides of two stones.
In a modified embodiment with rectangular recesses, it is expedient if the rectangular recesses of two stones or slabs joined together rotated by 180 ° fit into one another, the recess of one stone corresponding to one eighth of a square being filled by the neighboring region of this recess of the other stone. The recessed eighth extends on one side of the stone over half its size, on the side at right angles to it over a quarter of the length of this stone, so that two stones that interlock by 180 o in these recesses in turn form rectangular angular spaces adjacent to their contact, whose boundary sides correspond to half the stone width.
Diese quadratische Steinplatte füllt dann die jeweils benachbart zu den Berührfugen gebildeten, bei der kreisförmigen Anordnung der acht Platten freibleibende quadratische Öffnung gerade auIn the case of the particularly preferred pentagonal stone with a triangular recess, it is possible for eight pentagonal stones, alternating with a long and an oblique side, to enclose a square stone plate between them. This square stone slab then fills the square opening which is formed adjacent to the contact joints and remains free in the circular arrangement of the eight slabs
The pentagon stone according to the invention can also be used in such a way that it is used together with other such or others Stones or plates are provided as a vertically to be laid wall cladding panel, the surface of the stones arranged in the composite being optionally offset from one another in relief.
Since the outline shape of the stone is very simple, it is not only easy to lay, but can also be made very easily from concrete in corresponding negative forms. Elaborate gears with a corresponding risk of breakage or a weakening of the entire stone are avoided and there are still considerable additional design options.

A diagonal or
In the case of both exemplary embodiments, namely that according to FIG. 1 on the one hand and above all the preferred exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 3 to 5 on the other hand, exactly one eighth of the total area of a square plate has been left out or omitted, this recessed fictitious part in FIGS. 1 and 3 is also shown at some distance from the recess formed thereby.
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1, this recess 2 is rectangular, in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 3 this recess is designed as a right-angled isosceles triangle 3, in both exemplary embodiments this recess extends on at least one
The rectangular recesses 2 of two
The pentagon stone according to the invention is particularly well suited for the fact that eight
It should also be mentioned that the
This results in a total of a
In Fig. 7 it is indicated at one point that two pentagonal stones according to the invention can be connected together in one piece on their
Since the recesses each have at least one right angle, in fact only one in FIG. 3 and even four in FIG. 1, the pentagonal stones according to the invention according to FIGS. 2, 4 and 6 advantageously result from the common one when the inventive pentagons are folded
The
