Description

The invention relates to the positioning of a jack for tensioning a prestressing cable.

The positioning of a jack in the extension of a prestressing cable for the tensioning of this cable is generally carried out in a more or less approximate manner by moving the handling machine which carries the jack and it is long and difficult to '' ensure correct positioning due to the weight of the jack (200 to 1000 kg), difficulties of access and the orientation of the cable outlet which can be arbitrary in space.

The present invention aims to solve this positioning problem.

It is known to fix a part to the structure to be prestressed so that this part is opposite the operating position of the jack and to use this piece to carry the jack (Publications US-A-3588045 and US -A-3333819).

In these known solutions, the jack is directly bolted to said part, which presents difficulties and disadvantages which the present invention seeks to avoid.

This is achieved according to the present invention by attaching to said piece a support that can be manipulated by means of a handling device and by sliding the jack on this support to bring it into the appropriate service position.

Preferably, one uses, as part fixed to the structure, a part arranged around the cable to be stretched and, for example, one very advantageously uses the anchoring plate or other anchoring body which is normally provided, in a known manner. itself, to facilitate an injection of cement slurry in the cable passage and for the mounting of a cover on the end of the cable after tensioning of the cable.

Preferably, according to the invention, the jack is slidably mounted on a support capable of being hung on the anchoring piece temporarily by a movement from top to bottom.

Preferably, use is made of a support capable of being suspended from a handling device, for example a support capable of being suspended from the hook of a bracket or of an operating arm.

In an advantageous embodiment, the support has the form of a console which has a front part capable of being applied and fixed on the anchoring part fixed to the structure and a longitudinal rear part perpendicular to the front part and under which the jack is supported so that it can slide towards the front.

  • . Figure 10 is a longitudinal view with partial section of the console in place on the anchor, the tensioning cylinder being in the service position.

The device shown in the figures is intended for position a jack V to tension a prestressing cable P coming out of a concrete structure S to be prestressed (Fig. 1).

In known manner, an anchor plate A is embedded in the concrete around the outlet of the cable P and has bolt holes for receiving a cover, and this anchor is used as a guide and as a primary support for position the cylinder.

To do this, we use some of the bolt holes to temporarily fix on the anchoring piece a retaining piece suitable for mounting a console or, alternatively, we use an anchoring piece from manufacturing with a piece of permanent detention.

The anchor A, used in this example, is shown in Figure 2 in front view and in Figure 3 in side view. This part, of arcuate shape, is fixed in the concrete of the structure around the outlet of the prestressing cable, in a manner known per se. It has holes 1 for receiving bolts for fixing a cover in a manner known per se.

According to the invention, two of these holes 1 ′, 1˝ are used to bolt a sector 2 shown in FIG. 4 to the anchoring part. This sector forms teeth 3, 4 at its ends which can be seen in section in FIG. 5. These teeth are intended to retain and fix a console C to which the tensioning jack is suspended.

This console C is shown as a whole in FIG. 1 and, in more detail, in the figures.

It comprises a front part and a rear part which, in this example, are substantially perpendicular.

The front part is a part 5 of arcuate shape capable of being disposed against the anchoring part A, around the cable outlet, and it has an upper edge shaped with a flange 6 (FIG. 7) able to be retained by the teeth 3, 4 of sector 2.

Figure 8 shows the front part of the console in place on the anchor.

The rear part of the console is mainly constituted by a rail 7 fixed to the front part by a suitable elbow 8 of any structure in itself.

This rail is for example an I-shaped profile, the top of which is provided with a ring 9 allowing the console to be hooked to the hook 10 of a gantry 11 of a crane or other handling machine (FIG. 1). The lower branch of the rail constitutes a raceway for the rollers 12 of a carriage 13 to which the jack V for tensioning is fixed, and a jack 14 controls the movement of the carriage along the rail (Figures 1, 8, 9 ). The structure of the carriage is arbitrary. In the example shown, this carriage comprises a sheath 15 in which the tensioning cylinder V is mounted. Means may be provided for adjusting the position of the jack with respect to the carriage and / or the carriage with respect to the rail, so as to center the jack with respect to the cable to be stretched.

Figure 10 shows the tensioning cylinder in the service position on the cable.

To position the tensioning cylinder, the console equipped with said cylinder is suspended from a handling machine which allows the console to be approached from the anchoring part until the front part of the console is hooked, by a movement from above below, on the anchor. You can then move the jack on the console towards the cable to grab the cable and pull it. Reverse operations allow the cylinder to be removed.
