Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Behälter im Baukastensystem für Kontaktlinsen. The invention relates to a container in a modular system for contact lenses.
Such a container is known for example from US-A-4 545 479. It consists of two shells to hold the two contact lenses, which are firmly connected by a bridge-like part. The two shells are closed by two lids that are screwed into the two shells.
Such a container is intended for the transport of the contact lenses by the patient. If one or both contact lenses are to be shipped, for example after they have been lost, another container is required for shipping than the shipping container. Shipping the entire device is prohibited because of the costs involved.
In addition, the known container offers no possibility of accommodating aids for putting on and taking off the contact lens on the eye in this container.
It is therefore the object of the present invention to provide a contact lens container which, or parts thereof, can also be used for shipping the contact lenses.
This object is achieved by a contact lens case, as characterized in
The container according to the invention thus consists of two separate cans, each of which can contain a contact lens, and which are inserted into a common base plate. The base plate together with the two cans represents the container as it can be carried by the patient. The individual cans serve as shipping containers, they can be cheaply produced as injection molded parts made of plastic and can therefore be supplied again by the supplier without much additional effort if the contact lenses have to be replaced.
According to a development of the invention, the base plate can have a space for receiving aids for inserting the contact lenses. According to another development of the invention, this space can be closed by a cover which is simultaneously designed as a mirror plate. The magnifying glass provided in the lid of the can is used to check whether the contact lens has been placed correctly in the can. In addition, this screw cap (with magnifying effect) can be used as a magnifying glass to check the technical condition of the contact lens.

The
At the lower part of the
Between the two openings for the cans or shipping container, a

In the section of FIG. 5 shown in FIG. 6, the
At the same time, the
As shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, the
