Claims (9)

  1. Ein Herbizid enthaltend als aktiven Wirkstoff eine Verbindung dargestellt durch die folgende allgemeine Formel [I]

    worin X₁, X₂, X₃, X₄ und X₅ jeweils unabhängig voneinander Wasserstoff, Halogen, C₁₋₅Alkyl, C₁₋₅Alkoxy, C₁₋₅Alkylthio, Trifluomethyl, Difluormethoxy, C₁₋₅Alkoxycarbonyl, Nitro oder Acyl, und R₁ und R₂ jeweils unabhängig voneinander Wasserstoff, C₁₋₅Alkyl, Phenyl oder durch ein oder mehrere Halogenatome substituiertes Phenyl bedeuten.
  2. Ein Herbizid gemäss Anspruch 1, worin
    (a) X₁ Methyl, X₂ Chlor oder Fluor, X₃, X₄ und X₅ Wasserstoff und R₁ und R₂ jeweils Wasserstoff oder Methyl bedeuten, oder
    (b) X₁ Methyl, X₂ Fluor, X₃, X₄ und X₅ jeweils Wasserstoff und R₁ und R₂ jeweils Wasserstoff oder Methyl bedeuten.
  3. Verfahren zur Bekämpfung von Unkräutern, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man die Unkräuter oder ihren Standort mit einer herbizid wirksamen Menge einer Verbindung der Formel I gemäss Anspruch 1 behandelt.
  4. Verfahren zur selektiven Behandlung von Unkräutern an Standorten von Feldfrüchten, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man die Unkräuter oder ihren Standort mit einer selektiven und herbizid wirksamen Menge einer Verbindung der Formel I gemäss Anspruch 1 behandelt.
  5. Verfahren gemäss Anspruch 4, worin die Feldfrucht ausgewählt ist unter Mais, Kartoffel, Zuckerrohr, Erdnuss, Sojabohne, Sonnenblume, Gerste, Weizen, Hirse, Reis, Baumwolle oder Obstbaum.
  6. Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Verbindung der Formel I gemäss Anspruch 1 dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man eine Verbindung der Formel IV
