Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a sealing strip for roller doors with the features of the preamble of claim 1.
The part of the roller shutter curtain that is unwound in the direction of the closed position from the winding shaft is accommodated on both sides in guides; For the sealing of the gap area between the lintel of the door opening to be closed and the section of the roller shutter curtain that rolls off the wrap, a sealing strip extending over this gap area is provided, which, according to the prior art, is designed as a brush with its protruding from the lintel Grasp the bristle ends on the outer surface of the door leaf, following the outer surface that is wavy in the direction of movement. The seal of such a brush strip is naturally limited, the brush itself is expensive to manufacture. With such a brush, it is possible to compensate for relatively large differences in the gap width between the lintel and the roller shutter curtain, but the bristles of the brush have to reorient - open / close - in the respective direction of movement of the roller shutter curtain, which overcomes a resistance which is considerably increased in the initial area of the reorientation which requires bristles. After a transfer process of the roller shutter curtain into the open position, the bristles of the brush are therefore directed upwards, if a closing process is now initiated, the still very short end section of the roller shutter curtain that is directed downward in the closed position must be under its own weight under the corresponding direction of rotation of the winding move down. However, the aforementioned reorientation resistance of the bristles has to be overcome, ie a back pressure force is exerted on this lower roller door armor section while the winding shaft tries to initiate the unwinding process. As a result, there is a risk that an overweight forms in the counter-unwinding direction of the winding shaft, with the result that the lower end of the roller shutter curtain slides into the interior of the winding shaft and falls down with a corresponding sudden extension. Apart from the fact that the roller door curtain is not held in the guides and receives a considerable dynamic load in the direction of movement, such a process poses a danger to people and goods located in the area under the winding.
Such a sealing strip is known in particular from DE-A-3115129 (see FIG. 10), this sealing strip consisting of an essentially cross-sectionally shaped sealing body made of an elastomer, which encloses a cavity and has two strip-shaped extensions which correspond to one another Intervene in the undercuts of a holding profile. This sealing body lies sealingly against a roller door curtain, the sealing body being able to adapt to the contour of the rolling gate curtain. In addition, this previously known device has a further sealing rail with a sealing body which rests on the side of the roll armor opposite the seal body, so that a complete seal of the roll armor is achieved.
The invention has for its object to provide a sealing strip of the type mentioned, with which a better sealing effect is achieved, which is cheaper to manufacture and which reliably prevents the lower door leaf armor end from overturning when the closing movement is initiated.
Starting from a sealing strip with the features of the preamble of claim 1, this object is achieved according to the invention by its characterizing features.
The inventive design of the sealing strip is a much better seal compared to the conventional brush achieved with significantly cheaper construction of the sealing strip. The strip profile or the entire sealing strip can be made in one or more parts as a plastic extruder part, the sealing attack of the bulging surface of the strip profile on the roller door curtain with low sliding resistance can be achieved by coating the bulging surface, particularly preferably in the form of flocking, which in particular can consist of a rubber material, can also be ensured in a technically simple manner.
The sealing strip according to the invention can be used in particular where the distance between the lintel and the roller shutter armor section which is guided past is not subject to excessive fluctuations. The sealing strip according to the invention is particularly well suited in connection with roller doors, the winding shaft mounting of which, depending on the winding diameter, ie the length of the roller door armor wound, can be displaced axially parallel to the lintel towards or away from the lintel. This through appropriate Mechanical gear connection produced displacement movement depending on the length of the roll-up door curtain wound in such a way that the roll-up door curtain rolling or rolling onto the roll is approximately the same distance from the lintel in every operating position.
A preferred embodiment consists in the fact that the strip profile is intrinsically rigid in relation to the forces arising from the attack on the roller shutter curtain. The elastic resilience for the sealing abutment of the last profile on the outer surface of the door leaf armor and the required yield in the course of the undulating course of this door leaf surface in the direction of movement is achieved by a resilient zone of the plastic profile that is discussed in the longitudinal direction of the profile. The strip profile is held displaceable relative to another area of the sealing strip on the lintel, in particular in that the strip profile is connected to a lintel fastening region via a spring-elastic zone extending in the longitudinal direction of the profile. The entire sealing strip can be a one-piece plastic part, which comprises the hollow profile wall of the strip profile and the lintel fastening area, a notch being formed between the latter and the strip profile as a spring-elastic zone, which serves as a spring-elastic predetermined bending point. The lintel fastening area serves to fix the sealing strip to the lintel, in particular in that a holding rail with a groove-shaped cavity is arranged on the lintel, in which a molded-in plug strip on the lintel fastening region of the sealing strip is secured against being pulled out can be used.
As an alternative to this, the strip profile is provided with a profile wall which, as regards its attack on the roller shutter curtain in the direction of the lintel, is designed to be resiliently deformable in itself. The strip profile wall is then supported on a retaining strip to be fixed on the lintel. The strip profile can in principle be provided with a profile wall that is closed in cross-section.

The exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1 shows a sealing strip, denoted overall by 1, which has a
The
The holding rail consists in the present case of a C-shaped sheet which includes a groove-
