Abstract

Ein zum Senden und Empfangen geeigneter Ultraschall-Prüfkopf mit einem relativ breitbandigen Frequenzspektrum und relativ kurzen Schallimpulsen zur berührungsfreien Prüfung von Bauteilen in einer Flüssigkeit, insbesondere zur volumetrischen Prüfung metallischer Bauteile in flüssigem Natrium bis 250 °C. Dieser Prüfkopf hat ein in die Flüssigkeit eintauchbares Gehäuse (1) und darin schalltechnisch gekoppelt ein Piezoelement (7), einen Dämpfungskörper (8) und eine an die Flüssigkeit angrenzende Transformationsschicht aus einer schallweichen Folie (6) und einer schallharten Folie (4), die sich nach außen auf ein oder mehrere Stege (5) oder ein aus diesen Stegen (5) gebildetes Gitter abstützt.
