Description

The invention relates to a self-locking clamping device for a shoe strap with a strap holder which is provided at one end with a fastening tab and with a support body which has a recess for the shoe strap.

Various clamping devices are already known, which are largely based on allowing the shoe strap of the shoe lacing to be tensioned by increasing the frictional action between the clamping device and the shoe strap. It is known among other things - according to FR-PA-1 126 547, which represents the preamble of claims 1 and 2 - to use a clamping device in which a supporting body to be fastened on a shoe has a clamping member which is adjustable in a tensioning arrangement of the shoe band in a guide arrangement has and the support body is provided with side walls which taper towards one another in the tensioning direction and approximately symmetrically to the guide arrangement. The shoelace is passed between the side walls and the clamping member, the clamping member being looped around on its side facing away from the pulling direction. Due to the taper of the side walls, which enclose an angle to each other through which a self-locking of the clamping member is achieved, it is difficult to loosen a shoe strap once it has been tensioned. Unlocking or reducing the tension requires a difficult movement of the clamping member against the tensile force acting through the shoe strap.

The present invention has for its object to provide a clamping device of the type mentioned, which allows easy, play-free clamping of a shoe strap and a quick release in any position.

In addition, a revealing design of the clamping device should be possible.

This object of the invention is achieved in that the free space in the support body is formed by a recess and the two longitudinal guides are arranged in the two side walls thereof, in which the clamping member protrudes through the support body and that between the side walls on the side facing away from the fastening tab Clamping member is arranged a stop limiting the recess and the shoe strap is passed between the clamping member and this stop and wraps around it on the side facing away from the stop. It is advantageous with this solution that after tightening the shoelace in the tensioning direction, even when the holding force is reduced to almost zero, the clamping force for holding the shoelace in the tensioned position is maintained. In addition, the stress on the shoelace can be kept low by the clamping device, since the blocking or the holding force that holds the shoelace in the clamped position is not by overcoming the frictional force between the shoelace and the supporting body, but by shifting it of the clamping member and an accompanying relaxation or removal of the clamping effect is caused.

According to a further embodiment, it is provided that the support body has two fork arms extending in the opposite direction from the mounting bracket, in which the two longitudinal guides are arranged, in which the clamping member projects through the support body and that between the fork arms on the side of the mounting bracket facing away from the mounting bracket Clamping organ a stop is arranged and the shoe strap is passed between the clamping member and the stop and wraps around this on the side facing away from this stop. It is advantageous with this solution that the clamping devices can be arranged closely spaced from one another due to the small space requirement, and this design results overall in high stability and a favorable introduction of forces into the lacing area of the shoe.

However, it is also possible that the strap holder is provided with a handle on an opposite end face facing away from the fastening tab, whereby the unlocking of the clamping member or the opening thereof is facilitated in order to enable the shoe strap to move freely, since above the lever arm which holds the clamping device forms, using the tension provided in the shoelace the displacement of the clamping member against the clamping direction in the longitudinal guide can be easily and forcibly effected.

But it is also possible that the handle is integrally formed on the support body, which makes it possible to produce the clamping device made of plastic, wherein the handle is molded onto the support body by an injection molding process. Of course, the entire clamping device can also be made of plastic. This eliminates heavily used or break-sensitive connection points between the handle and the support body.

According to another embodiment variant it is provided that the band holder or support body has a thickness which is greater than a cross section, in particular a diameter of the clamping member, whereby the arrangement of projecting tabs or other projections for receiving the longitudinal guides can be avoided.

According to another development, it is provided that the recess also includes an opening in the support body and in the elongated holes forming the longitudinal guides from the fastening tab extending in the direction of the handle, whereby the threading of the shoelace is facilitated and the overall height of the clamping device can still be kept low.

However, it is also advantageous if the clamping member is aligned approximately perpendicular to the side walls with the elongated holes, which makes it easier to clamp and loosen the shoelace.

According to another embodiment, it is provided that the clamping member is formed by a metal pin, in particular a hollow rivet or semi-hollow rivet, so that even high tensile forces, which can occur when closing a shoe, in particular a mountain or military shoe, are properly absorbed by the clamping device can.

But it is also possible that the clamping member is arranged in a plane parallel to a support surface of the support body, since the pulling action of the shoelace inclines the clamping device against the upper leather and thereby increases the clamping action, while by lifting it with the handle Fastening tab towards the inclined course of the longitudinal guide can be achieved an adjustment of the clamping member from its adjacent, the shoe strap fixing clamping position in the open position facilitated.

According to another embodiment, it is also possible for the clamping member to be arranged in a direction perpendicular to the support surface of the support body, as a result of which clamping devices with a narrower design can be easily produced.

However, it is also advantageous if the stop by a rivet, e.g. a hollow rivet, is formed, since a positive connection of the fork arms and thus an additional stiffening of the clamping device can be achieved.

In another embodiment variant, it is provided that the longitudinal guide runs obliquely to a plane receiving the support body or the support surface and has a smaller distance from the mounting bracket with increasing distance from the support body, as a result of which the clamping member is automatically released or moved out of the Clamp position in the open position is difficult.

According to another development, it is provided that the support body, the fastening tab and the handle are formed in one piece from a metal part, as a result of which complex connection processes can be saved and the clamping device can be produced inexpensively.

But it is also possible that the support body, the mounting bracket and the handle are formed from a flat sheet metal part blank, in which the support body is offset in steps from the mounting bracket and the side walls receiving the elongated holes are formed by bent sheet metal parts, at least part of the for the recess of the removed sheet metal part is bent in the direction of the handle and forms the stop for the clamping member, so that it can be found with a small amount of material for the clamping device.

It is also advantageous if the fastening tab is provided with two openings, for example bores, arranged next to one another for receiving fastening elements, as a result of which the fastening device can be used to ensure that the clamping device is secured against rotation.

Furthermore, it is also possible for a plurality of support bodies to be arranged on a common fastening tab, as a result of which the fastening process of the clamping devices can be simplified.

Finally, it is also possible that the longitudinal guide and / or the support body and / or the handle and / or the fastening tab are made of metal and are embedded in the plastic of another part or are preferably molded onto it during the injection molding process. This makes it possible to create both the design ideas and the strength requirements corresponding clamping devices in which the highly stressed parts can be made of metal and the shaping components made of plastic and, moreover, the connection between the metal parts and the plastic can be made inexpensively in the course of the injection molding process can.

Um diesen unterschiedlichen Funktionen und den unterschiedlichen Anforderungen an die Verschlußkraft gerecht zu werden, sind die Klemmvorrichtungen 6,7,8 unterschiedlich ausgebildet.1 shows a shoe 1 designed as a mountain shoe, which has a closure device 2, which comprises clamping devices 6, 7 arranged in two rows 4, 5, indicated by dash-dotted lines, which run parallel to one another and transversely to the direction of closure indicated by arrows. 8 and a shoelace 9 associated therewith, for example a lacing cord or a shoelace, is formed. By exerting a pulling force - arrow 10 - through the Hands of the user of the shoe 1, a corresponding tightening force of the shoe strap 9 and thus a closing force in the closing direction - arrows 3 - are generated. This tightening force causes the two parts of the shoe 1 to be connected to be pulled together in order to achieve a tight seal between these parts and at the same time to allow the foot to be firmly seated in the shoe 1. In order to do justice to these different functions and the different requirements for the closing force, the clamping devices 6, 7, 8 are designed differently.

Thus, the clamping devices 6 are intended to enable the shoe strap 9 to be guided correctly in the initial region of the lacing and to provide a flexible holder, so that the highest possible tensile force in the closing direction - arrow 3 - is exerted on the opposite parts of the shoe 1 to be closed . In the transition area between the instep lacing and the ankle lacing, but especially in the end area of the lacing, in which the shoe strap is to be fixed in its position by looping or tying, it is advantageous to provide clamping devices 7 and 8 with which the shoe strap 9 in its position and the preload - against the tensile force indicated by the arrows 10 - can be held.

A clamping device 8 is shown in FIGS. This comprises a band holder 11 which has a clamping member 14 which can be displaced in a longitudinal guide 13 in a supporting body 12. On the support body 12, which in the present exemplary embodiment consists of a plastic, a handle 15 and a fastening tab 16 are provided in one piece. Openings 17 with depressions 18 are arranged in the fastening tab 16 and are penetrated by fastening elements, for example rivets 19. These rivets 19 also enforce Openings 20 in the upper leather 21 of the shoe 1 and thus fix the clamping device 8 on the shoe 1. By arranging two adjacent openings 17 on the fastening tab 16, an anti-rotation device of the clamping device 8 is simultaneously achieved. As can also be seen better from FIGS. 3 and 4, the shoe strap 9 is passed between the upper leather 21 and the clamping device 8 with both the pull cord 22 and the holding cord 23. The holding strand 23 then also runs between the clamping element 14 and a side wall 25 of a recess 26 arranged in the support body 12 and forming a stop 24 for the clamping element.

Due to this wrapping of the clamping member 14 with the shoe strap 9, the clamping member 14 is pulled into the position shown in FIG. 2 by a small tensile force directed in the direction of an arrow 27 on the pulling cord 22 and is built up in the holding cord 23 due to the tightening of the shoe strap 9 Preload force, according to arrow 28, held in connection with the wrapping of the clamping member 14. This also applies in the event that after a brief application of a pulling force in the direction of arrow 27, the pull cord 22 is released.

In order to cancel this clamping effect or to move or adjust the clamping member 14 so that the shoe strap 9 can move freely, the clamping device 8 must be raised with the handle 15 from the position shown in FIG. 4 to the position shown in FIG . When lifting, the clamping member 14 is displaced in the direction shown in FIG. 5 by the prestressing force acting in the holding strand 23, according to arrow 28, in the unloaded tensile strand 22 due to the inclined position of the longitudinal guide 13 and the prestressing force, according to arrow 28. The clamping member 14 can also assume the maximum end position drawn with dashed lines in FIG.

Through this adjustment of the clamping member 14, the movement of the shoelace 9 is released and the shoelace can now be adjusted, for example in the area of the clamping devices 6 of the shoe 1 shown schematically in FIG. 1, in the opening direction or then again in the closing direction.

In the present exemplary embodiment, the clamping member 14 is formed by a semi-hollow rivet 29, the ends of which are crimped in the regions protruding above the supporting body 12 or deformed into a shoulder or a head. Of course, a hollow rivet or any other part can be used instead of the semi-hollow rivet.

Dadurch wird das Erfassen und Hochklappen zum Lockern des Schuhbandes 9, wie dies anhand der Fig.5 beschrieben wurde, erleichtert.FIGS. 6 and 7 show a clamping device 8 which is essentially designed in accordance with that shown in FIGS. 2 to 5, which is why the same reference numerals are used for the same parts. The clamping device 8 in turn comprises a band holder 11, a clamping member 14 which is arranged in an adjustable manner therein, a handle 15 and a fastening tab 16 which is designed for sewing into the upper leather 21. As can be seen more clearly from FIG. 6, the fastening tab 16 is inserted between several layers of the upper leather 21 and connected to them by a seam 30, of which a thread 31 can be seen. The guiding of the shoelace 9 takes place in accordance with the representations and descriptions in FIGS. 3 and 4. Furthermore, it can be seen that the handle 15 is provided with a plurality of transverse ribs 32 at its end facing away from the fastening tab 16, as well as towards it from the fastening tab 16 tapered end facing away. This makes it easier to grasp and fold up to loosen the shoe strap 9, as was described with reference to FIG. 5.

The clamping member 14 preferably consists of a semi-hollow rivet which is flanged at its ends. Such semi-hollow rivets have the advantage that they consist of solid material in the loaded cross section, that is to say between the elongated holes forming the longitudinal guide 13, while their ends are provided with deep-drawn tubular extensions. One of the two extensions can be flanged before inserting the clamping member, while the second end is flanged into the longitudinal guide after inserting the semi-tubular rivet, thus causing the clamping member 14 to be held in a displaceable manner.

A further embodiment of a clamping device 8 is shown in FIGS. 8 to 10, which is produced entirely from a metal sheet, for example a flat sheet steel blank. Thus, the band holder 11 is offset in height relative to the fastening tab 16, approximately perpendicular to the fastening tab 16, by a bevel 33. In order to produce the recess 26 in which the shoelace 9 is guided, side walls 34, 35 are provided, which are also bent at 90 ° in the direction of the fastening tab 16, so that the recess 26 has a height 36 that is greater than a diameter 37 of the clamping member 14 or a width 38 of the elongated hole 39 forming the longitudinal guide. In the direction of the handle 15, in which the sheet metal part is deformed, for example, concavely and inclined to a support surface 40, the recess 26 is closed by a side wall 25 forming the stop 24 . This side wall 25 is formed by a sheet metal part 41, which forms part of that cutout that must be removed to produce the opening 43 penetrating a cover plate 42 in order to make the recess 26 accessible from the sheet metal part 41. This sheet metal part 41 is bent by 90 ° and then forms the stop 24.

The shoe strap is then clamped between this stop 24 and the clamping member 14 in the manner shown in FIGS. 2 to 4.

Of course, it is also possible, in deviation from the embodiment shown, to give the clamping device 8 a different shape or to form the handle 15 in an angular manner or with driving openings and the like. In addition, it is also possible to produce the stop 24 in a different way than by a corresponding shaping of the sheet metal part 41. The stop 24 can thus be formed by an inserted pin or welded or riveted stop parts. Furthermore, it is also not absolutely necessary to make the recess 26 accessible from above through an opening 43. However, if such an opening 43 is provided, as is also the case in the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 5, then a thickness 44 — FIGS can be chosen so that it corresponds approximately to the diameter 37 of the clamping member 14, plus at least one diameter 45 of the shoelace 9. However, the thickness 44 preferably corresponds to the diameter 37 of the clamping member 14, plus twice the diameter 45 of the shoelace 9.

Although this clamping device 8 can also be used without an opening 43, the opening enables a smaller overall height or thickness of the band holder or of the support body 12, since the opening can be used to guide the band upwards. In addition, the threading of the shoe strap, for example when it is to be replaced or is to be threaded, is facilitated. Furthermore, the position of the clamping member 14 can be immediately determined optically by the opening 43, so that the user can clearly see whether the shoe strap 9 is clamped or the clamping member 14 is released.

Another embodiment of a clamping device 8 is shown in FIGS. 11 and 12, which has a fastening tab 16 and in which a support body 46 is designed in a fork-like manner in a direction running perpendicular to its support surface 40. Between two fork arms 47, 48, the clamping member 14, which runs perpendicular to the support surface 40 and which can be formed again, for example, by a semi-hollow rivet or a rivet, is arranged and slidably mounted in elongated holes 39 forming the longitudinal guide 13. The stop 24 between which and the clamping member 14 the shoelace 9 is clamped can be formed, for example, by the sheet metal parts which have been unclipped and bent inwards to produce the elongated holes 39 or by a pin or rivet connecting the two fork arms 47, 48. If the clamping device 8 is made entirely of plastic, the stop 24 can also be formed by a web connecting the two fork arms 47, 48.

As can be seen better from FIG. 12, the stop 24 extends only over part of a width 49 of the clamping device 8, so that the shoelace 9 or the pull cord 22 and the retaining strand 23 laterally next to the stop 24, but still within the width 49 of the clamping device 8 can be passed. The fastening tab 16 can in turn be provided with two openings 20 for fastening to the upper leather 21. The attachment can be done via rivets, hollow rivets or other connecting means.

However, it is of course also possible that the clamping device 8 shown in FIGS. 11 and 12 can be equipped with a fastening tab 16 for sewing into the upper leather 21, as is shown, for example, with reference to the embodiment in FIGS. 6 and 7.

In addition, it goes without saying that all other exemplary embodiments can also be designed with such a fastening tab provided for sewing in and, moreover, a plurality of band holders 11 or supporting bodies 12 can be arranged on such a fastening tab.

Furthermore, it is also possible for the handle 15 to be formed by protruding pins, tabs, bands or other aids anchored or embedded in the support body 12 or in the band holder 11 in order to release the clamping of the shoelace 9 between the stop 24 and to effect the clamping member 14. Furthermore, it is also possible to arrange the elongated holes 39 or the longitudinal guides 13 obliquely to the contact surface 40, as is indicated, for example, by dashed lines in FIG. As a result, the self-clamping effect or the clamping can still be maintained to a sufficient extent even when the pull cord is released.

For example, as shown in FIG. 8 with dash-dotted lines, it is readily possible to produce the handle 15 from a plastic part which is molded onto the projecting parts, for example the stop 24 or the cover plate 42, by the injection molding process.
