Abstract
Description
The invention relates to furniture such as. B. is known as corner furniture, which has as the rear wall an angled wall with two body walls and a hinge for furniture or the like. In such and similar furniture, the furniture door is in the closed position at an acute angle to that body wall, on which it with one or more hinges or tapes.
The formation of the edge area associated with the hinge axis is problematic in such furniture, so that joints or protruding corners are usually formed which are bothersome.
Insbesondere soll die Tür wenigstens im Scharnierbereich den Möbelkorpus in Schließlage im wesentlichen vollständig abdecken können und trotzdem eine günstige Öffnungslage einnehmenThe invention is based on the object of creating a piece of furniture or a hinge in which disadvantages of known solutions are avoided. In particular, at least in the hinge area, the door should be able to cover the furniture body essentially completely in the closed position and still assume a favorable opening position
According to the invention, the furniture or the hinge has an articulated corner formation. The door leaf edge surface associated with the hinge axis is expediently preferably provided at an angle to the door plane deviating from 90 ° such that, when the door is in the closed position, it lies approximately parallel to the side of the body associated with the hinge axis, which is formed by a body wall, which is either a closed wall is formed, or is determined only by frame frames if the furniture body z. B. can be formed open at the back because it is placed against a wall. As a result, the door can strike the outside or the front surface of the furniture body or at least that of the hinge axis and / or the opposite body wall and essentially completely cover these body walls in the closed position.
This is particularly the case if the door leaf edge surface associated with the hinge axis and / or the opposite edge surface of the door is offset to the outside with respect to the inside or the central plane of the associated body wall and is preferably approximately in the plane of the outside of this body wall. The wall edge of this body wall can be chamfered approximately parallel to the door in the closed position, so that the door can rest against it over a large area and well sealed.
In particular in the case of a piece of furniture of the type described, the object on which the invention is based can also be achieved in that the hinge axis is offset laterally outwards relative to the associated body wall or its wall edge and - in view against the closed one Door - preferably essentially covered by the door leaf. As a result, a favorable opening movement of the door leaf is achieved in such a way that, when the door is open, the furniture body is easily accessible in the area of the hinge axis even if the door can only be pivoted through an opening angle of less than 90 °. However, the design according to the invention is also suitable for doors which can be pivoted about a horizontal axis in the manner of a flap. The hinge can be designed, for example, for a free-standing piece of furniture in a simple manner so that the door can be pivoted in layers from the closed position over an angle of more than 45 or 90 °, for example over an angle of 135 or even at least 225 °, in which it either lies approximately at the same level as the associated body wall or protrudes approximately at right angles beyond the outside.
In a preferred embodiment, the hinge axis is offset to the outside with respect to the inside or the center plane of the door and / or with respect to the inside or the center plane of the associated body wall, it expediently being slightly inward with respect to the plane of the outside of the door and with respect to the plane the outside of the body wall is slightly offset to the outside or lies approximately in the plane of at least one of these outside sides.
According to a further proposal according to the invention, the hinge in the closed position forms an approximately flat, single-layer or plate-shaped component, for example in that the two hinge parts lie next to one another in the direction of the hinge axis or one of the hinge parts essentially completely accommodates the other hinge part in a receiving opening. As a result, the hinge stands only insignificantly, even if it is not attached recessed over the outside of the body wall by its panel thickness, so that it can be moved almost up to a wall. In addition, the beveled edge surface of the door can thereby bear almost directly over the entire plate-like hinge part lying parallel to this edge surface, essentially over the entire area, so that this hinge part does not project significantly beyond the outside or the inside of the door.
So that a secure attachment of the hinge to the door is easily possible even if the door is made of relatively brittle material, the associated hinge part is not attached to the beveled edge surface or is not clamped against this edge surface, but at an angle to it Surface, especially attached to the inside of the door. The hinge part belonging to the body wall is also not fixed opposite the beveled edge surface of the door, but is fastened inwardly at a distance to the body wall, this hinge part having a support arm for the door or protruding laterally beyond the body wall by about the width of the beveled edge of the door. forms the hinge axis.
So that the position of the hinge axis relative to the furniture body and the door can be precisely adjusted in a simple manner, at least one adjustment device is provided. The body hinge part can, for example, be displaced parallel to its plate plane and at right angles to the hinge axis and, if necessary, can be pivoted within a small tilting angle about an axis perpendicular to its plate plane. The adjustment device provided between the door hinge part and the door is expedient as a result formed that the fastening part for the door relative to the door hinge part is approximately parallel to the plate plane and perpendicular to the hinge axis adjustable and fixed by bracing. The fastening part and its adjusting part belonging to the adjusting device are designed in such a way that they do not hinder the pivoting of the door hinge part into the plane of the body hinge part, but rather can possibly intervene in the receiving opening of the body hinge part. The fastening part for the door leaf expediently engages completely recessed into the bevelled edge surface of the door.
The piece of furniture can also have a divided door with two door leaves which can be closed essentially at the same level and are each mounted in the manner described on their mutually facing edges. The same hinge according to the invention can be used on both sides.
The
The continuously flat, oblong, rectangular plate-shaped body hinge
The other plate end of the carcass hinge
In the area of the
On one side of the bearing head 22 there is a
