Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe lehrt die Erfindung, daß die Wasch­walzen eine flexible Welle aufweisen, von denen zumindest eine unmittelbar angetrieben ist und deren Bogenform durch Verstellung der äußeren Lager einstellbar ist, und daß die Waschborsten umittelbar an den Wellen befestigt sind. - Die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung arbeitet mit sogenannten flexi­blen Wellen, die in der Antriebstechnik bekannt sind und auch bei Transportsystemen bereits eingesetzt worden sind. Bisher ist übersehen worden, daß solche flexiblen Wellen vorteilhaft in einer Vorrichtung für die Reinigung von gekrümmten Glas­scheiben eingesetzt werden können, wenn die Borsten unmittel­bar auf diesen flexiblen Wellen befestigt werden, und daß so eine betriebsmäßige Anpassung an Glasscheiben beliebig unter­schiedlicher Krümmung möglich ist. Das gilt insbesondere dann, wenn die flexiblen Wellen aus einem natürlichen oder künstlichen Elastomer, vorzugsweise aus einem Polyurethan­elastomer, bestehen. Die flexiblen Wellen sind nach bevorzug­ter Ausführungsform der Erfindung als Vollwellen, d. h. als als massive Wellen, ausgeführt. Um die Borsten an einer sol­chen Welle auf einfache Weise zu befestigen, können die flexiblen Wellen kreisförmig oder schraubenwendelförmig um­laufende Nuten aufweisen, die Stege bilden, wobei die Borsten in diese Stege eingesetzt, z. B. eingeklebt sind. Aus einer vergleichenden Betrach­tung der Fig. 1 und 2 einerseits, der Fig. 3 andererseits, entnimmt man, daß die flexiblen Wellen 6 kreisförmig oder schraublinienförmig umlaufende Nuten 7 aufweisen, die Stege bilden, und daß die Waschborsten 5 in diesen Stegen befe­stigt, z. B. eingeklebt sind. Die flexiblen Wellen 6 besitzen einen Antrieb 8, der auf ein über ein äußeres Lager vorste­hendes Wellenende unmittelbar aufgesetzt ist. In den Fig. 1 und 2 erkennt man Lenker 9 und Doppelhebelsysteme 10, die He­belgetrieben angehören, wobei die festen Punkte 11 der Hebel­getriebe 9, 10 durch entsprechende Schraffur deutlich gemacht sind. Vorrichtung für die Reinigung von gekrümmten Glasscheiben, - mit zumindest zwei in äußeren Lagern aufgenommenen Wasch­walzen, die übereinander angeordnet sind und von denen zumin­dest eine angetrieben ist, wobei die Waschwalzen der Krümmung der Glasscheiben entsprechend sowie einen gekrümmten Waschbe­reich bildend gebogen und mit Waschborsten versehen sind, die in den Waschbereich hineinragen, dadurch ge­kennzeichnet, daß die Waschwalzen (3) eine flexible Welle (6) aufweisen, von denen zumindest eine unmit­telbar angetrieben ist und deren Bogenform durch Verstellung der äußeren Lager (2) einstellbar ist, und daß die Wasch­borsten (5) unmittelbar an den Wellen (6) befestigt sind.1.
