Description
Elektronische Geräte sind häufig mit mehrpoligen Steckverbindungen ausgestattet. Fernsehempfänger sind beispielsweise mit einer 20-poligen Steckverbindung, der sogenannten Scart- oder Euro-AV-Steckverbindung ausgestattet. Über diese Steckverbindung werden Peripheriegeräte, wie Videorecorder oder Satellitenempfänger, mit dem Fernsehgerät verbunden. Zur Vermeidung einer falschen Kontaktierung ist diese Steckverbindung in bekannter Weise durch eine besondere äußere Kontur so ausgebildet, daß die Steckverbindung nur in einer bestimmten räumlichen Zuordnung von Stecker- und Buchsenteil herstellbar ist. Aus der Fig. 1 ist der Aufbau dieser bekannten Steckverbindung ersichtlich. Sollen mehrere Peripheriegeräte an die geräteseitige Steckverbindung angeschlossen werden, dann ergeben sich Schwierigkeiten. Es sind dann entweder mehrere parallelgeschaltete geräteseitige Teile der Steckverbindung oder ein zusätzlicher Adapter mit einem Eingang und mehreren Ausgängen erforderlich.Electronic devices are often equipped with multi-pin plug connections. Aus EP-A-0 279 405 ist ein Steckverbinder, bestehend aus einem Buchsenteil und einem mehrteilig ausgebildeten kabelseitigen Teil bekannt. Das Buchsenteil ist dabei mit seinen Durchbrüchen über aus der Geräterückwand ragende Stifte oder Messer geschoben. Es besteht aus einer Platte mit den erwähnten Durchbrüchen und zwei sich an seinen Längsseiten erstreckenden Seitenwänden. Die Innenseiten der Seitenwände weisen Rippen und Nuten auf, die dazu dienen, zum einen das kabelseitige Teil bildende Stecker mit den mit den Seitenwänden korrespondierenden Seitenflächen in das Buchsenteil einzustecken und zum anderen Hakenteile aufzunehmen zur Befestigung von einzusteckenden Steckern. Durch die Gestaltung der Seitenwände des Buchsenteils mit Nuten ist es möglich, eine Codierung der Steckverbindung durchzuführen. Werden beispielsweise Nuten im Buchsenteil durch von Steckern abgebrochene Zinken gefüllt, so ist nur ein Einstecken eines Steckers möglich, dessen mit den gefüllten Nuten im Buchsenteil korrespondierende Zinken entfernt sind. Ebenso wird durch das mit Nuten versehene Hakenteil die jeweilige Drehlage eines Steckers bezüglich des Buchsenteils festgelegt. Die Unverwechselbarkeit der Stecker wird somit gewährleistet. Die Steckverbindung ist zwar vielseitig variierbar, aber auch, da aus sehr vielen Einzelteilen bestehend, sehr aufwendig aufgebaut.From EP-A-0 279 405 a connector consisting of a socket part and a multi-part cable-side part is known. Bei den kabelseitigen Steckverbindungsteilen sind Außenkonturen vorgesehen, die sich formschlüssig aneinander fügen, womit die Sicherheit gegenüber Verwechslung gewährleistet wird. Zur Erhöhung der Sicherheit sind an der Außenkontur der Steckverbindung Nuten und Federn angebracht, so daß ein falsches Einstecken der kabelseitigen Steckverbindungsteile verhindert wird. Claims (3)
- Multipole connector on an electronic device, it being the case that a socket part or a plug part is permanently mounted on the device and the part of the connector on the cable side is constructed in a plurality of parts and the connector is produced from a plurality of connector parts mounted on different cables, characterised in that the external contour of the socket part or plug part and of the part on the cable side corresponds to a SCART connector and the connector parts on the cable side in each case have mutually differing contours deviating from a rectangle in such a way that in the plug-in state the connector parts uniquely fill up in a form-locking fashion the entire contour of the socket part or plug part.
- Multipole connector according to Claim 1, characterised in that the contours of the connector parts on the cable side are chosen such that the introduction of each connector part is possible only in a specific position relative to the part of the connector on the device side.
- Multipole connector according to Claim 2, characterised in that grooves and tongues are provided on the external contour of the connector.
