Description

The invention relates to a ski brake according to the first part of claim 1.

Such a ski brake has been commercially available for a long time. In addition, DE-A1-32 02 808 shows a ski brake with a tread plate in which an approximately U-shaped wire spring is accommodated, the free ends of which are angled upwards and inwards against the plane of symmetry of the wire spring and a pedal in which two cranked wire brake mandrels are rotatably mounted, which can be pivoted into a position inclined at an acute angle with respect to the top of the ski. Furthermore, AT-B-345 136 describes a ski brake in which, in its assembled state, the tread plate is connected to a slide plate by means of a holding device, which receives two pressure springs for a sled of a heel holder in a recess and which carries an adjustment catch which engages in at least one rack of a guide rail for the carriage.

All these designs had the disadvantage that a release of the ski brake from the heel holder during the transport of the unit consisting of the heel holder and the ski brake was not excluded. In the last-mentioned embodiment, the slide plate was formed in two parts, the two parts being only loosely hooked together.

The object of the invention is to eliminate these disadvantages and to create a ski brake, the connection of which to the heel holder cannot be released even during shocks during transport.

Starting from a ski brake according to the first part of claim 1, this object is achieved according to the invention by the features of the characterizing part of this claim. Characterized in that the wire spring or the tread plate through the further holding device formed by a leaf spring or by a strip, the transverse web of the U-shaped Wire spring or at least one side of the tread plate is permanently held across the heel holder, unintentional release of the ski brake from the heel holder is prevented. In another embodiment of the further holding device due to the special shape of the bolt head, the use of an additional spring element is also saved.

The subject matter of claim 2 has the advantage that only a multi-cranked leaf spring has to be produced, especially since a bolt which carries a latch for the catch on its underside is normally present on each slide plate of this type.

The features of claim 3 allow a particularly simple manufacture of the leaf spring.

The holding force of the leaf spring is doubled by the subject matter of claim 4.

The subject matter of claim 5 prevents a rotational movement of the wire spring about the longitudinal axis of the bolt.

Due to the features of claim 6, the leaf spring, regardless of whether it rotates around the bolt or not, is supported in its movement into the holding position, especially since two springs are now connected in series.

The subject matter of claim 7 has the advantage that parts of the holding device can be produced on the one hand simultaneously with the sliding insert and on the other hand with the slide plate.

The measure of claim 8 is particularly advantageous when the holding device is formed by the leaf spring that overlaps the transverse web of the U-shaped wire spring. The object of claim 9 is also aimed in this direction, in which the holding device is formed by the strip which engages over the transverse web of the U-shaped wire spring.

In claims 10 and 11, two variants are placed under protection, which allow the wire spring to be fixed to the slide plate by special configurations of the leaf spring without the use of an additional bolt.

The subject matter of claim 12 makes the manufacture of the holding device independent of the manufacture of the ski brake and the heel holder.

In another embodiment according to the invention according to claim 13, the presence of the bolt is used, starting from AT-B-371 010. According to the characterization of this claim, the already existing bolt is used as a holding device in that it is designed in the shape of its head. This measure thus makes it possible to save a separate component which serves to hold the ski brake. There are two advantageous embodiments.

Due to the design according to claim 14, the tread plate is secured against lifting off the slide plate by means of a second projection of the bolt head. The measures of claim 15 allow a compact design of the bolt head.

The subject matter of claim 16 has the advantage of a simplified manufacture of the bolt, since when the single projection is formed, the second section, which is designed as a flattened portion, can also be produced in one and the same working position. The tread plate is only attached to the slide plate by frictional connection.

In Figure 1, 1 denotes a guide rail which is attached to the top 2a of a ski 2. A slide 3 of a heel holder 4 is slidably mounted on the guide rail 1. A ski brake 5 is attached to the slide 3 with its tread plate 6, on which an actuating pedal 10, 10a is pivotally mounted. A slide insert 7 made of plastic is located in the slide 3. This sliding insert 7 is approximately U-shaped in cross section and has the task of reducing the friction between the slide 3 and the guide rail 1.

A slide plate 8 is arranged in the slide 3 below the slide insert 7. This has a recess 8a which extends in the longitudinal direction of the ski and in which two helical compression springs 8b are accommodated. The one ends of the helical compression springs 8b rest on the end of the recess 8a and the other ends on an extension 3a of the slide 3. In the direction of the front jaw, the slide plate 8 projects over the slide 3, this projection 8c being tapered and carrying an adjustment catch 8d. This is intended for engagement in two toothed racks 1 a arranged in the guide rail 1.

In the tread plate 6, an approximately U-shaped wire spring 9 is accommodated in plan view, the free ends 9a are angled upwards and inwards and seek to pivot a two-part actuation pedal 10, 10a into a position inclined at an acute angle with respect to the top side 2a of the ski 2. In the lower part 10 of the actuating pedal 10, 10a, two cranked brake pins 11 are rotatably mounted. When the actuating pedal 10, 10a is depressed, these brake spikes 11 are first raised to above the upper side 2a of the ski 2 and then pivoted under the influence of the upper pedal part 10a against the vertical longitudinal center plane of the heel holder 4, so that the brake spikes 11 - seen in plan view - come to lie essentially within the outline of the ski 2.

Both the heel holder 4 and the ski brake 5 are known per se and do not form part of the invention. It is therefore unnecessary to go into the details of these components 4 and 5 in more detail.

Fig. 7).In order to prevent unintentional release of the ski brake 5 from the heel holder 4 during transport, the invention provides that the wire spring 9 or the step plate 6 is assigned a holding device. This holding device is designed according to FIGS. 2 to 5, 7, 9 and 10 as a leaf spring 12 -12 VI , which is held, for example, by a bolt 15 or 14 mounted in the slide plate 8. The bolt 13 provided with a slotted head 13b carries at its lower end a bolt 13a with which the adjustment catch 8d of the slide plate 8 can be locked with respect to the two racks 1a of the guide rail 1. The bolt 14 which is independent of the bolt 13 and fixes the leaf spring 12 IV is located in the region of the end of the slide plate 8 which is remote from the heel holder 4 (cf. FIG. 7).

Dabei liegt der Quersteg 9b in einer im Vorsprung 8c der Schieberplatte 8 angeordneten, in Querrichtung verlaufenden Rille 8e.According to FIG. 2, the leaf spring 12 has an angular shape, the longer leg 12a being held by the bolt 13. The shorter leg 12b, on the other hand, holds the tread plate 6 of the ski brake 5 elastically on the side remote from the crosspiece 9b of the wire spring 9. The transverse web 9b lies in a groove 8e which is arranged in the projection 8c of the slide plate 8 and runs in the transverse direction.

Die Lagerung des Quersteges 9b der Drahtfeder 9 erfolgt wie beim vorhergehenden Ausführungsbeispiel, nämlich in der Rille 8e der Schieberplatte 8.In contrast to this embodiment, according to FIG. 3, the side of the step plate 6 which is adjacent to the crosspiece 9b of the wire spring 9 is held elastically by the leg 12'b of the leaf spring 12 '. The cross bar 9b of the wire spring 9 is supported as in the previous exemplary embodiment, namely in the groove 8e of the slide plate 8.

Auch hier liegt der Quersteg 9b der Drahtfeder 9 in einer Wölbung 8e der Schieberplatte 8.In the embodiment according to FIG. 4, the leaf spring 12 ″ is U-shaped in section, the two legs 12 ″ a, 12 ′ ″ b elastically holding both sides of the tread plate 6 running in the transverse direction of the ski brake. Here, too, the crosspiece 9b of the wire spring 9 lies in a curvature 8e of the slide plate 8.

In contrast to the exemplary embodiments shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the leaf spring 12 ″ lies here on the inside of the frame-like tread plate 6. Another difference lies in the fact that below the leaf spring 12 '''there is a plate spring 15 on the bolt 13 which introduces it of the upwardly projecting leg 12 '''b of the leaf spring 12''' into the frame of the tread plate 6, especially since two springs are connected in series.

Vorsprünge 7a und Streifen 8k bilden die Halteeinrichtung für die Skibremse 5.Another configuration of a holding device is shown in FIG. In this embodiment, the sliding insert 7 of the slide 3 is provided at its end adjacent to the ski brake 5 with two lateral projections 7a, which engage under the wire spring 9 in the region of its two bends 9c, a strip-shaped section (strip 8k) of the slide plate 8 and the crosspiece 9b the wire spring 9 engages behind. Protrusions 7a and strips 8k form the holding device for the ski brake 5.

In the embodiment of a holding device shown in FIG. 7, a leaf spring 12 IV is also present, but it is fastened by means of the bolt 14 to the projection 8c of the slide plate 8, which is separated from the bolt 13 which holds the bolt 13a for the adjustment catches 8d Slider plate 8 carries, is independent. Another difference from the above-described embodiments lies in the fact that the leaf spring 12 IV with a line extending in the transverse direction of the ski brake buckle 12 IV c engages over the transverse web 9b of the wire spring. 9

Fig.8 zeigt eine Variante zur letzten Ausführungsform. This differs from the embodiment according to FIG. 7 in that a strip (sheet metal strip 16) is fastened to the slide plate 8 as a holding device instead of a leaf spring by means of a rivet 16a. The end section 16b of the sheet metal strip 16 lying above the groove 8e in the slide plate 8 is bent to form a U which is open towards the bottom.

Dabei ist das freie Ende der Abwinkelung 12Vd der Blattfeder 12V zur Sicherung der Blattfeder 12V mit einer Kröpfung 12Ve versehen.9 shows an embodiment in which again a leaf spring 12 V is present, which is held by the bolt 13 on the slide plate 8. However, this leaf spring 12 V covers the cross bar 9b of the wire spring 9 upwards and engages with its angled end section 12 V d in a recess 8f of the slide plate 8. The free end of the bend 12 V d of the leaf spring 12 V to secure the leaf spring 12 V is provided with a crank 12 V e.

Dabei sind die Ausnehmungen 8f,8g₁ und 8g₂ als Schlitze gestaltet, so daß die Blattfeder 12VI von der schieberplatte 8 leicht abgenommen und bei Bedarf ausgetauscht werden kann.10 and 10a differs from this embodiment in that the leaf spring 12 VI is U-shaped in cross section, but is approximately Y-shaped in plan view and with its legs 12 VI d, 12 VI f₁, 12 IV f₂ engages in recesses 8f, 8g₁ and 8g₂ of the slide plate 8. In this embodiment, too, the free ends of the leaf spring 12 VI are provided for securing the same in the slide plate 8 with bends 12 VI e or 12 VI g₁ and 12 VI g₂. The recesses 8f, 8g₁ and 8g₂ are designed as slots, so that the leaf spring 12 VI can be easily removed from the slide plate 8 and replaced if necessary.

The embodiment according to FIG. 11 differs from those described so far in that the holding device is a strip 17 made of plastic, which is rectangular and plate-shaped in plan view, and which in one half is parallel to the shorter sides of the rectangle extending groove 17a for receiving the cross bar 9b of the wire spring 9. Hooks 17b are attached to the strips 17 in the other half on the two long sides and on the shorter side of the rectangle, which is remote from the groove 17a. These hooks 17b engage under the slide plate 8, wherein they engage individually in any recesses 8a, 8h, 8i in the slide plate 8. The outer dimensions of the holding device are thereby reduced.

In the embodiments according to FIGS. 12a, 12b, 12c and 13, the bolt 13 'itself is designed as a holding device. This bolt 13 'carries at its lower end the bolt 13'a for the adjustment catch 8d and at its upper end the slotted head 13'b. In contrast to the previous embodiments, this head 13'b is provided with two sections 13'c and 13'd, which are designed as projections and which are located in different transverse planes on the axis of the bolt 13 '. The two projections 13'c, 13'd run in different planes as far as their altitude is concerned. The lower projection 13'c serves to support the frame-shaped tread plate 6, whereas the other, upper projection 13'd pushes over a shoulder 18a of a stiffening plate 18 which is approximately U-shaped in plan view and which is riveted to the underside of the plate by means of rivets 19 Footplate 6 is attached. The U-shaped stiffening plate 18 and thus also the tread plate 6 is therefore held against the slide plate 8 by positive locking.

Fig.14a). Fig.14b). Fig.14c).In contrast to this, the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 14 a to 14 e has a bolt 13 ″, the bolt head 13 ″ b of which is only provided with a projection 13 ″ c, which serves to support the frame-shaped tread plate 6. The bolt head 13''b is provided with a cylindrical jacket 13''g above the projection 13''c. A flattened portion 13 ″ e is formed on the projection 13 ″ c as the second section. In the unlocked position of the bolt 13 ″, the flattened portion 13 ″ e runs parallel to one of the inner sides 6 a of the frame-shaped tread plate 6, this inner side 6 ″ a lying in a plane that runs perpendicular to the toothed strip 8 d of the slide plate 8 (cf. Fig. 14a). However, if the bolt 13 '' is turned clockwise, the tread plate 6 is shifted slightly to the left and the bolt head 13''b lies with an edge 13''f on the aforementioned inner side 6a of the frame-shaped tread plate 6, whereas the cylindrical outer surface 13''g is supported on the opposite inside of the step plate 6 (see Fig. 14b). After turning the Bolt 13 ″ in a position in which the bolt head 13 ″ b with the flattened portion 13 ″ e bears on the inside 6b of the step plate 6 opposite the toothed strip 8b of the slide plate 8, the latched position is reached. In this position, the tread plate 6 is held in place by the bolt 13 ″ by a positive fit (see FIG. 14c).

It can be seen that the bolt 13 '' according to FIGS. 14b and 14d is in the locked position on the slide plate 8, whereas the bolt 13 '' according to FIGS. 14c and 14e is in the locked position.

The invention is not tied to the exemplary embodiments shown in the drawing and described above. Rather, various changes are possible without departing from the scope of the invention. For example, it would be conceivable to use U-shaped wire springs instead of leaf springs, which are placed around the shaft of the bolt holding them.
