Diese Zeitvorgabe kann auf den vorgesehenen Ladestrom der Akkus abgestimmt sein, so daß ein für die Akkus schädliches Überladen vermieden wird. Auch besteht dadurch die Möglichkeit, mit wesentlich höherem Ladestrom und somit kürzerer Ladezeit zu arbeiten. Dies ist für den praktischen Betrieb von wesentlichem Vorteil. Ohne Ladebegrenzung ist es erforderlich, den Ladestrom auf einen vergleichsweise niedrigen Wert einzustellen, um die Akkus bei einer Dauerladung nicht zu beschädigen. Bei einer Ladezeitbegrenzung wird dies vermieden.
Gegebenenfalls kann noch eine Meßschaltung für den Lade- bzw. Entladezustand der Akkumulatoren vorgesehen sein, welche eine noch exaktere Steuerung der Ladezeit zuläßt.If the electric shaver is provided with a clock, this can also be used to control the charging process of the batteries in addition to displaying the time.
