Within the scope of the invention, however, a deflection for the purpose of receiving and delivering the folded products 1 is also possible on curvatures which only have to be such that the holding plates 19 which perform a gripper function open. In an equivalent manner, another design of the holding plates 19 is also possible within the scope of the invention, for example in the form of controlled grippers.

Claims (6)

  1. Device for taking up, storing and delivering folded products (1), under the folded spines of which there can be inserted means (2) for opening the same, wherein separating elements (19) are arranged spaced apart from each other on a transport device (18), which elements can be inserted respectively into the spread-apart halves (11, 12) of the folded products (1) when the folded products (1) are taken up, and are arranged to be removable when the folded products are delivered, abut the transport device (18) when it is guided in a straight line and at one end are secured to it and, when the folded products (1) have been taken up, are shaped together with the transport device (18) to form a storage roll (24), characterised in that the separating elements act as grippers and can be inserted on the side opposite the folded spine after the folded products (1) have been spread apart between their respective lower (11) and upper (12) halves, whilst the transport device (18) guiding the separating elements (19) in a first direction (13) is guided for the purpose of pivoting the separating elements (19) about a take-up curve (20) below the conveyed folded products (1), which are opened by means of a first tongue (14) deflecting the lower (11) and the upper (12) half of the folded products (1), so that the separating elements (19) pick up the lower half (11) of the folded products (1) and in that for the purpose of delivering the folded products (1) the transport device (18) guiding the separating elements (19) into a second direction (27) is guided about a delivery curve (26) for the purpose of pivoting the separating elements (19) in such a way that the upper half (12) of the folded products (1) respectively not held by one of the separating elements (19) is forced away from the lower half (11) held by the separating element (19).
  2. Device according to claim 1, characterised in that the take-up curve (20) and the delivery curve (26) are rollers about which a flexible steel band (18), designed as the transport device, can be guided.
  3. Device according to claim 2, characterised in that the separating elements (19) are elastic holding plates secured on the steel band (18).
  4. Device according to claim 2 or 3, characterised in that near the rollers which form the take-up curve (20) and the delivery curve (26) second (21) and third (25) tongues are assigned.
  5. Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the folded products (1) to be picked up are conveyed respectively via a rotatable holding rod (2) which engages under the folded spine of one of the folded products (1), and in that when the folded products (1) have been taken up by the separating elements (19) the means (2) for opening the folded products (1) can be guided along a path (23) deviating from the course of the transport device (18) so that the means (2) for opening the folded products (1) can be laterally removed from the folded products (1).
  6. Device according to claim 5, characterised in that on the means (2) for opening the folded products (1) guide plates (10) are arranged which can be forced away by the first tongue (14) before the folded products (1) are transferred to the separating elements (19) so that the folded products (1) are splayed before the roller forming the take-up curve (20).
