Claims (11)

  1. A centrifuge for centrifuging blood having an insertion cup (1) into which a blood bag ran be inserted, which communicates by way of flexible connection tubes with at least one other blood bag inside the centrifuge, and having a displacement body which butts against the insertion cup (1) and which ran vary the volume of the insertion cup (1), characterised in that the insertion cup (1) consists of two pivoted dish halves (2, 3) which are connected lengthwise to one another and which in the upper region in each case have a flange plate (6, 7) integrally formed thereon, and in that arranged at the upper side of the dish halves (2, 3) is a holder for the blood bag that is to be inserted between these dish halves (2, 3).
  2. A centrifuge according to claim 1, characterised in that the pivoted connection of the dish halves (2, 3) is designed as a film hinge.
  3. A centrifuge according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the dish parts (2, 3) and the hinge consist of an impart-tough and wear-resistant plastics material.
  4. A centrifuge according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the flange plates (6, 7) which are integrally formed on the dish parts (2, 3) and which lie opposite one another in the closed state of the insertion cup (1) at the one side ( flange plate 6 ) have stay bolts (8) and at the other side ( flange plate 7 ) have recesses (9), whereby the flange plates (6, 7) are held in engagement with one another.
  5. A centrifuge according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that in each case a grip edge (10, 11) is arranged on the upper side of each flange plate (6, 7).
  6. A centrifuge according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that reinforcing ribs (12, 13) are integrally formed on the flange plates (6, 7).
  7. A centrifuge according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that guides or holders for flexible tubes and supply pipes of the bloods bag are formed on the flange plates (6, 7).
  8. A centrifuge according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the one dish half (2) has on its inner circumference a circumferential lip (14) which engages into the clear aperture (15) of the other dish half (3) in the manner of an overlap.
  9. A centrifuge according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that additionally a hollow dish or a pad is arranged in the insertion cup (1) on one dish half (2, 3), in order to adapt the capacity of the insertion cup (1) to blood bags of smaller volume.
  10. A centrifuge according to claim 9, characterised in that the pad is provided bonded into the insertion cup (1) and is designed so as to be inflatable with air or contains a liquid.
  11. A centrifuge according to claim 9, characterised in that the pad is connected materially in one piece to the material of the insertion cup (1).
