Bei der Bearbeitung von Werkstücken, insbesondere von Pipelinerohren, ergibt sich häufig die Notwendigkeit, den gewünschten Arbeitsvorgang mittels mehrerer unterschiedlicher Bürsten durchzuführen. Dies hat zur Folge, daß verschiedene einzelne Arbeitsvorgänge erforderlich sind, um beispielsweise das Pipelinerohr in der gewünschten Weise zu bearbeiten. Dies beruht darauf, daß derartige Rohre, bevor sie an die Baustelle kommen, im äußeren Bereich mit einer Kunststoffschicht, insbesondere aus Polyäthylen, ummantelt sind, die als Oberflächenschutzschicht gegen Korrosion im Einsatz dient. Diese Kunststoffschicht muß vor dem Aneinanderfügen zweier Rohre in geeigneter Weise entfernt werden. Außerdem soll gewährleistet sein, daß die aneinanderstoßenden Stirnbereiche zweier Pipelinerohre zutreffend bearbeitet und von unerwünschten Fremdkörpern befreit sind. Die hierzu erforderlichen Arbeitsgänge wurden bisher manuell mittels mehrerer unterschiedlicher, beispielsweise gezopfter Bürsten durchgeführt.When machining workpieces, in particular pipeline pipes, there is often the need to carry out the desired work process using several different brushes. Es kann somit die Bürste variabei für alle Rohrarten eingesetzt werden. Claims (6)

  1. A brush, more particularly for processing of pipeline tubes, comprising an outer, axially symmetrical part co-rotatably secured to an inner core or holder and comprising a number of annular segments, which are successively drawn over the inner core and interchangeably held there and have differing diameters, characterised in that the brush comprises three segments (6, 7, 8), the middle brush segment (7) and the outer segment (8), which has the largest outer diameter, having a cylindrical outer periphery, and the outer brush segment (8) having a chamfer (9) at the transition to the middle segment (7), whereas the segment (6) with the smallest outer diameter has an outer diameter which tapers conically with increasing distance from the middle brush segment (7).
  2. A brush according to claim 1, characterised in that the brush segments (6, 7, 8) are made of different materials and/or consist of different brush parts.
  3. A brush according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the two outer brush segments (6, 8) each comprise a plastics-bonded wire brush part.
  4. A brush according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the middle brush segment (7) comprises a number of plaited individual rings.
  5. A brush according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the brush segments (6, 7, 8) are held between a retaining disc (11) secured to the end face (10) of the inner core (5), and a securing ring (12) releasably attached to the inner core (5) at a distance from the retaining disc.
  6. A brush according to claim 5, characterised in that the inner core (5) is in the form of a receiving tube and its wall has a number of radial bores (14) for escape of cooling air.
