Claims (9)

  1. A male electrical contact organ comprising a body (13; 50) having a substantially U-shaped section with two wings (10, 11, 54, 55) and a web (9, 53) and one end of which is extended by a bar (5, 51), whereas the other end comprises means (7) for its connection to a conducting wire, said organ being produced by cutting and bending from a metal blank, which is a good conductor of electricity, having two strips (2, 3) of different thicknesses,
    characterised in that the bar (5) and the U-shaped part of the body, adjacent to the bar (5), have a thickness greater than that of the remainder of the components.
  2. A male electrical contact organ according to Claim 1,
    characterised in that the bar (5) extends the extension of the free end of one of the wings (10) and is bent on the one hand to be brought close to the other wing (11) and, on the other hand, to extend in a median plane passing through the web (9) of the body.
  3. A male electrical contact organ according to Claim 1,
    characterised in that the body (50) comprises a slot (62), which extends transversally to the bar (51), the bar (51), in its part adjacent to the slot (62), being bent towards the base of the web.
  4. A male electrical contact organ according to Claim 1,
    characterised in that the means (7) for connection to a conducting wire are of the insulation-removal type and formed by lugs (56, 57) cut in the web (53) and bent so as to extend between the wings (54, 55) and in the free edges of which slots (58) are made.
  5. A male electrical contact organ according to Claim 1,
    characterised in that the means for connection to a conducting wire are of the insulation-removal type and formed by two limbs (15, 16) bent so as to form with the web (9) a part having a U-shaped section and each extended at each end by a lug (17, 18), the lugs (17) being bent so that those of one of the limbs (15) extend opposite to the corresponding lugs (18) of the other limb (16).
  6. A male electrical contact organ according to Claim 5,
    characterised in that the part of the body (7) comprising means for connection to a conducting wire, of the insulation-removal type and adjacent to the part comprising the bar (5), is reinforced by a rib (19).
  7. A male electrical contact organ according to Claim 5,
    characterised in that the limbs (15, 16) are reinforced by pressed sections (25).
  8. A male electrical contact organ according to Claim 5,
    characterised in that the end of the body opposite that comprising the bar (5) is provided with crimping tabs (22, 23) for a conducting wire.
  9. A male electrical contact organ according to Claims 5 and 8,
    characterised in that the part of the body provided with crimping tabs (22, 23) and adjacent to the part of the body comprising the means for connection to a conducting wire of the insulation-removal type is reinforced by a rib (21).
