Description

The invention relates to a band-like construction element.

The invention has set itself the task of creating a construction element of the type mentioned, which is suitable as a basic component for a variety of applications and with which two- and three-dimensional building structures can be created, for example hanging shelves for exhibition purposes, signposts or orientation aids, information carriers , Hanging racks for web-like goods, screen supports or wall dividers and the like. more.

A grate is known from DE-OS 35 45 917. This has two flexible connecting elements, on which rod-shaped or lamellar supporting elements are fitted at a distance from one another. The entry and exit of each through opening are arranged offset to one another, the through openings being arranged at an acute angle to the outside. The two through openings arranged near the end boundaries or support elements run in opposite directions to one another. Since the connecting elements each abut only on an outer side of the passage opening entry and exit, there is a clamping effect which is sufficient for the immovable mounting of the support elements on the connecting elements. The grating can be used on both sides and guarantees an exact position after laying.

Also known is a collapsible storage rack (AT-PS 290 059) which is used for the storage of rods, flat bars, pipes and the like. serves. Several rigid stands are spaced apart. At these horizontally extending insertion openings are provided, into which cantilevered support arms can be inserted, which consist of cut profile tubes. The stands themselves are formed from parallel profile supports, between which pipe pieces are welded to produce the insertion openings mentioned.

Devices of this known type are, however, not suitable for solving the problem shown above.

The invention now proposes that the construction element is characterized by at least two parallel or spaced rod or. rope-like or band-like carriers, which are connected to one another by a series of individual, web-like links, and adjacent to one another by two th boundary edges of two in the row immediately consecutive, web-like links at least one to form a partially circumferentially closed insertion opening has a course tapering the central cross-sectional area of the link or the insertion opening is provided in the link itself, the web-like links being made of plastic and attached to the rod or . rope or band-like supports are sprayed on directly or the individual links are formed with two shells and the division plane of the two shells lies in or parallel to the plane which contains the parallel supports.

In an expedient embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the mutually adjacent boundary edges of two web-like links immediately following one another at a distance from one another have a symmetrical course, based on a link lying transversely to the cables or cords and between two successive links in the row imaginary central axis. If, in fact, the construction element is used with insertion spars, these can be used without having to pay particular attention to the positioning of these spars, which facilitates their assembly especially when many such spars are to be inserted into such a construction element.

If the individual web-like links are symmetrical in relation to their imaginary central axis running transversely to the ropes or cords, the band-like construction element does not have a preferred direction per se and it is therefore to be used regardless of the direction.

In order to obtain large insertion openings with the smallest possible grid division, it is also provided that the individual links show an I-like shape in view. This expedient shape of the individual links also permits relatively long surrounding zones, that is to say areas on the rod-like or rope-like or band-like supports which are covered by the material of the individual links.

If the band-like construction element is used for high mechanical stresses, it is expedient that the spacing of the links in a row is smaller than the width of the individual links measured in the longitudinal direction of the construction element, which also means relative to the respective overall length of the construction element long scope Solution zones can be achieved, which ensure the individual links a secure and firm hold.

In order to be able to produce the band-like construction element as inexpensively as possible, it is provided that the individual web-like members are of identical design. This makes the production of the mold cheaper. The sequence of the manufacturing process is also favored, since several links can be injected at the same time in one work cycle and thus identical and equally shaped mold cavities are present.

The embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 2 consists of two cords 1, 2, which are arranged parallel to each other and spaced apart. Between these cords 1, 2, a plurality of individual, web-like links 3 are now arranged in a row, which are firmly connected to these cords 1, 2. These links 3 are made of plastic and are expediently molded directly onto the cords 1, 2. From Fig. 1 it can be seen that the adjacent boundary edges 4 of two in the row immediately successive links 3 to form an at least partially circumferentially closed insertion opening 5 have a tapering the central cross-sectional area of the links 3, here in this embodiment, these boundary edges 4 according to Art a circular arc line. It can also be seen from FIG. 1 that the adjacent boundary edges 4 of two web-like members 3 which follow one another directly in the row at a distance from one another have a symmetrical course, in relation to a one lying transverse to the cords 1, 2 and between two in the row to a on the following links 3 imaginary central axis. In addition, in this embodiment, the individual web-like links 3 are symmetrical in relation to their imaginary central axis running transversely to the cords 1, 2, so that they show an I-like shape in view. The spacing a of the series of successive links 3 is also smaller than the width b of these links 3 measured in the longitudinal direction of the construction element. All the links of such a band-like construction element are also shaped identically.

The boundary edges 4 can also show a course deviating from a circular arc line, for example a polygonal course, as shown in FIG. 3, in which the same parts as in FIG. 1 are provided with the same reference numbers. These links according to the exemplary embodiment 3 are designed asymmetrically with respect to imaginary central axes that run transversely to the cords 1, 2. Both in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1 and that according to FIG. 3, the insertion openings 5 are formed by the limbs 3 lying adjacent to one another. 15 now shows an embodiment in which this insertion opening is provided directly in the respective link 3.

Ribbon-like construction elements of the type shown and explained here, which can be manufactured endlessly, are suspended from a ceiling or stretched between the ceiling and floor of a room. When arranged in pairs, spars 7 (FIGS. 4 and 14) can be inserted into the insertion openings, regardless of their respective configuration, the outer cross-sectional contour of which is designed to correspond to that of the insertion openings 5. The mutual distance A of these spars 7 (FIGS. 4 and 14) can be selected as desired and only depends on the pitch T of the construction element.

Die Fig. 5 bis 13 veranschaulichen nun schematisch in vereinfachter Darstellung verschiedene Anwendungsmöglichkeiten dieses bandartigen Konstruktionselementes:5 to 13 now schematically illustrate in a simplified representation various possible uses of this band-like construction element:

Fig. 5 shows a hanging shelf, as it can be used for example in shop fitting. Fig. 10 zeigt zwei zwischen Decke und Boden verspannte und voneinander distanzierte bandartige Konstruktionselemente mit über deren Höhe verlaufende Verspannung 13, die als Bildschirm oder Wandteiler verwendet werden kann.10 shows two band-like construction elements braced between the ceiling and floor and spaced apart from one another, with bracing 13 extending over their height, which can be used as a screen or wall divider.

Fig. 11 shows schematically band-like construction elements in pairs, wherein plate-like objects 14 are suspended from the horizontal bars 7 for drying.

Fig. 12 zeigt paarweise vorgesehene bandartige Konstruktionselemente, die hier mit den Querholmen 7 zu einer Art Strickleiter verbunden sind.FIG. 12 shows band-like construction elements provided in pairs, which here are connected to the cross bars 7 to form a kind of rope ladder.

Fig. 13 veranschaulicht paarweise angeordnete bandartige Konstruktionselemente, die von einer Raumdecke 8 abgehängt sind; an den horizontalen Holmen 7 sind hier Waren inform von Ketten oder Schnüren präsentiert.13 illustrates band-like construction elements arranged in pairs, which are suspended from a ceiling 8; Goods on chains or cords are presented on the horizontal bars 7 here.

In each of the exemplary embodiments shown, two or more band-like construction elements are provided, which are connected to one another by one or more cross bars, these cross bars being able to project laterally beyond the band-like construction elements, as illustrated in FIG. 11. The band like construction elements are either suspended from the ceiling or stretched straight between the ceiling and floor. It is now also possible to twist the band-like construction element, which is stretched between the ceiling and the floor, so that the individual members of the row are slightly offset relative to one another. Such an arrangement is particularly useful in connection with decorative elements. Inserted or inserted bars do not lie on one level, but then lie on an imaginary screw surface.

Profile tubes made of metals but also of plastics can be used as connecting bars 7. Since the webs 3 are sprayed directly onto the cords or ropes 1, 2, they are extremely firmly connected to them, so that these construction elements are highly resilient. These band-like construction elements can be manufactured endlessly, so to speak. The corresponding and necessary lengths are separated from a supply roll for the respective application. If the individual links 3 are connected with cords or ropes 1, 2 in the exemplary embodiments shown, tapes can also be used instead of such cords or ropes. By means of such flexible connecting elements, these band-like construction parts can also be stored in a very space-saving manner; they can be rolled up. Due to their structure, ropes and cords have a certain amount of elasticity, which ensures a sufficiently secure press fit for the inserted spars if the outer cross-sectional dimensions of the spars and the width of the insertion openings are coordinated. This clamp connection or clamp fit is sufficient for such assemblies that are not exposed to high mechanical stresses. In the case of assemblies which are subject to high mechanical stresses, reference is made here, for example, to rope ladders (FIG. 12), it will be expedient to provide the spars 7 with a groove in the area which is directly surrounded by the insertion opening, so that there is an additional positive connection between the insertion opening and the spar. This positive locking can be improved in that a small web-like elevation is provided on the inner wall of the insertion opening, which is in direct contact with the spar, which cooperates with the groove mentioned in the manner of a bolt or spring.

The exemplary embodiments described above have cords as carriers or ropes. Chains and bands are also suitable as carriers here. Instead of such flexible, easily bendable supports, it is also possible to use rod-like supports which, in contrast to cords, ropes, tapes or chains, are rigid. These supports, regardless of whether they are stiff or flexible, can be made from metallic materials, from natural fibers or from plastics. There are practically no restrictions on the materials to be used for this.

If it is stated from a large part of the exemplary embodiments explained above that the beams are suspended from ceilings, it is also possible if the beams are rigid and rod-like that the construction element can be set up on the floor. A horizontal arrangement of this construction element is also possible, for example to form barriers or barriers or, if the carriers are flexible, this construction element can also be designed and used as a conveyor device in the manner of a conveyor belt.

In the exemplary embodiments described, the links 3 are spiked directly onto the supports 1 and 2 and are formed in one piece, which can be produced efficiently. These links can be made of sprayable materials such as plastic or metallic materials. In principle, it is also possible to design these links 3 with multiple shells, in particular with two shells, the division plane of the two shells preferably lying in or parallel to the plane which also contains the parallel supports. If these links are manufactured separately and only connected to the carrier in a separate operation, they are glued, pressed, welded or clamped onto it, depending on the forces that will then act on the construction element when used as intended.
