Abstract

The invention relates to a mechanical support element for a microwave transmission line, especially of the triplate type. The mechanical support element comprises a frame (2), of dielectric material, of rectangular shape. Two parallel sides comprise, on the inside and at the centre, two mutually opposite notches (21), into which there is passed the internal conductive strip (1) of the line. The ground planes are in contact with the other two sides of the frame.
