Abstract

The invention relates to a hair-drying hood (1) having heating elements (8) constructed as infrared radiating elements and a fan (13). The known apparatuses of this type usually have a bell-shaped form and have the disadvantage that an accumulation of heat is formed which is uncomfortable for the user. In order to provide a basic improvement in this case, the hair-drying hood is formed as a laterally open, approximately crescent-shaped bent cap (1) with the heating elements (8), an arm (4, 5) provided with heating elements (12) extending on each side approximately from the one end of said cap in the direction of its other end and a box-shaped projection with the fan (13) extending in the opposite direction. <IMAGE>
