Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Motorbremsvorrichtung für eine Brennkraftmaschine und umfaßt ein Drosselventil sowie einen im Zylinderkopf in einer Steuerbohrung angeordneten Steuerkolben. Um auf einfache Weise eine Schmierung des Steuerkolben zu erreichen, ist die Steuerbohrung mit einer Verbindungsöffnung zu der vom Kipphebelraum in das Kurbelgehäuse führenden Ölrücklaufbohrung versehen.The invention relates to an engine brake device for an internal combustion engine and comprises a throttle valve and a control piston arranged in a control bore in the cylinder head. Description
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Motorbremsvorrichtung für eine Brennkraftmaschine gemäß den weiteren im Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1 angegebenen Merkmalen.The invention relates to an engine brake device for an internal combustion engine according to the further features specified in the preamble of claim 1.
Eine Motorbremsvorrichtung der gattungsgemäßen Bauart ist aus der DE-OS 34 28 626 bekannt. Der in der Steuerbohrung des Zylinderkopfes eingesetzte Steuerkolben wird mittels Druckluft betätigt. Infolge der hohen Öffnungs- und Schließgeschwindigkeit des Steuerkolbens treten relativ hohe Reibwiderstände zwischen Kolben-Bohrungswand auf und es besteht die Gefahr, daß der Steuerkolben in der Steuerbohrung verklemmt.An engine brake device of the generic type is known from DE-OS 34 28 626. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, die gattungsgemäße Motorbremse derart auszubilden, daß auf bauliche einfache Weise deren Funktion und Standfestigkeit wesentlich verbessert ist.The invention has for its object to design the generic engine brake such that its function and stability is significantly improved in a structurally simple manner.
Die Aufgabe ist erfindungsgemäß durch die im kennzeichnenden Teil des Patentanspruchs 1 angegebenen Merkmale gelöst.The object is achieved by the features specified in the characterizing part of patent claim 1.
Durch die Erfindung wird auf einfache Weise ohne zusätzlichen Fertigungsaufwand eine Schmierung der Steuerkolben erzielt, in dem ein Teil des aus dem Kipphebelraum in das Kurbelgehäuse abfließenden Schmieröles zur Steuerbohrung abgezweigt wird. Durch die Schmierung wird ferner eine Erhöhung der Standfestigkeit erzielt, da die Reibung zwischen Kolben und Steuerbohrung verringert und ein Festsetzen des Kolbens in der Steuerbohrung weitgehend verhindert wird. Ferner wird durch die Schmierung ein zusätzlicher Kühleffekt am Steuerkolben erzielt, durch den der Verschleiß eines am Steuerkolben angeordneten Dichtringes verringert wird, was ebenfalls zu einer Verbesserung der Standfestigkeit beiträgt. Mit der Verbindung von Ölrücklaufbohrung und Steuerbohrung wird gleichzeitig eine Entlüftung des unter dem Steuerkolben liegenden Raumes erreicht, so daß auf die Anbringung einer besonderen Entlüftungsbohrung verzichtet werden kann.Lubrication of the control pistons is achieved in a simple manner by the invention without additional production expenditure, in which a part of the lubricating oil flowing out of the rocker arm space into the crankcase is branched off to the control bore. In der nachfolgenden Zeichnungsbeschreibung wird ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung an Hand zweier Abbildungen näher erläutert. Es zeigen:
- Figur 1 von der erfindungsgemäßen Motorbremsvorrichtung das Drosselventil mit Steuerkolben in einem Querschnitt durch den Zylinderkopf einer Brennkraftmaschine und,
- Figur 2 die Lage der Steuerbohrung zur Führung des Steuerkolbens am Zylinderkopf aus Figur 1 in einer Draufsicht.

In Figur 1 ist von einer nach dem Dieselprinzip arbeitenden Brennkraftmaschine ein Zylinderkopf 1 dargestellt, der die Öffnung eines Zylinders 2 verschließt. Neben den nicht dargestellten Gaswechselventilen enthält der Zylinderkopf 1 für jeden Zylinder 2 ein Drosselventil 3. Das als Tellerventil ausgebildete Drosselventil 3 ist mit seinem Ventilschaft 4 im Zylinderkopf 1 geführt und steuert mit seinem Ventilteller 5 eine im Zylinderkopfboden befindliche Drosselöffnung 7. Betätigt wird das Drosselventil 3 von einem Steuerkolben 8, der mit seiner Bodenplatte 9 auf dem Ende des Ventilschaftes 4 aufliegt und in einer abgestuften Steuerbohrung 10 des Zylinderkopfes 1 eingesetzt ist. Der ebenfalls abgestufte Steuerkolben ist im verjüngten Teil der Steuerbohrung 10 mit einem Führungsabschnitt 11 geführt und im erweiterten Teil der Steuerbohrung mittels eines am oberen Abschnitt 12 angeordneten Dichtringes 13 dichtend gehalten. Außerdem befinden sich im Kipphebelraum 16 die ebenfalls nicht dargestellten Kipphebel zum Betätigen der Gaswechselventile. Die Kipphebel sind dabei auf Kipphebelachsen gelagert und werden mit Schmieröl aus dem Schmierölkreislauf geschmiert. Das aus den Lagerstellen in den Kipphebelraum 16 abtropfende Schmieröl wird durch eine Ölrücklaufbohrung 18 in das Kurbelgehäuse abgeleitet.From Figure 2 it can be seen that the

Um hierbei eine gezielte Schmierung des Führungsabschnitts 11 am Steuerkolben 8 zu erreichen, ist die Verbindungsöffnung 19 in dem verjüngten Teil der Steuerbohrung 10 vorgesehen.
