Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Motorbremsvorrichtung für eine Brennkraftmaschine gemäß den weiteren im Oberbe­griff des Patentanspruchs 1 angegebenen Merkmalen.The invention relates to an engine brake device for an internal combustion engine according to the further features specified in the preamble of claim 1.

Eine Motorbremsvorrichtung der gattungsgemäßen Bauart ist aus der DE-OS 34 28 626 bekannt. Der in der Steuerbohrung des Zylinderkopfes eingesetzte Steuerkolben wird mittels Druckluft betätigt. Infolge der hohen Öffnungs- und Schließgeschwindigkeit des Steuerkolbens treten relativ hohe Reibwiderstände zwischen Kolben-Bohrungswand auf und es besteht die Gefahr, daß der Steuerkolben in der Steu­erbohrung verklemmt.An engine brake device of the generic type is known from DE-OS 34 28 626. Die Aufgabe ist erfindungsgemäß durch die im kennzeich­nenden Teil des Patentanspruchs 1 angegebenen Merkmale gelöst.The object is achieved by the features specified in the characterizing part of patent claim 1.

Durch die Erfindung wird auf einfache Weise ohne zusätz­lichen Fertigungsaufwand eine Schmierung der Steuerkolben erzielt, in dem ein Teil des aus dem Kipphebelraum in das Kurbelgehäuse abfließenden Schmieröles zur Steuerbohrung abgezweigt wird. Durch die Schmierung wird ferner eine Erhöhung der Standfestigkeit erzielt, da die Reibung zwi­schen Kolben und Steuerbohrung verringert und ein Fest­setzen des Kolbens in der Steuerbohrung weitgehend ver­hindert wird. Ferner wird durch die Schmierung ein zu­sätzlicher Kühleffekt am Steuerkolben erzielt, durch den der Verschleiß eines am Steuerkolben angeordneten Dicht­ringes verringert wird, was ebenfalls zu einer Verbesse­rung der Standfestigkeit beiträgt. Mit der Verbindung von Ölrücklaufbohrung und Steuerbohrung wird gleichzeitig eine Entlüftung des unter dem Steuer­kolben liegenden Raumes erreicht, so daß auf die Anbrin­gung einer besonderen Entlüftungsbohrung verzichtet werden kann.Lubrication of the control pistons is achieved in a simple manner by the invention without additional production expenditure, in which a part of the lubricating oil flowing out of the rocker arm space into the crankcase is branched off to the control bore.   • Figur 2 die Lage der Steuerbohrung zur Führung des Steuerkolbens am Zylinderkopf aus Figur 1 in einer Draufsicht.

Das als Tel­lerventil ausgebildete Drosselventil 3 ist mit seinem Ventilschaft 4 im Zylinderkopf 1 geführt und steuert mit seinem Ventilteller 5 eine im Zylinderkopfboden befind­liche Drosselöffnung 7. Betätigt wird das Drosselventil 3 von einem Steuerkolben 8, der mit seiner Bodenplatte 9 auf dem Ende des Ventilschaftes 4 aufliegt und in einer ab­gestuften Steuerbohrung 10 des Zylinderkopfes 1 eingesetzt ist. Der ebenfalls abgestufte Steuerkolben ist im ver­jüngten Teil der Steuerbohrung 10 mit einem Führungsab­schnitt 11 geführt und im erweiterten Teil der Steuerboh­rung mittels eines am oberen Abschnitt 12 angeordneten Dichtringes 13 dichtend gehalten. Außerdem befinden sich im Kipphebelraum 16 die ebenfalls nicht dargestellten Kipp­hebel zum Betätigen der Gaswechselventile. Die Kipphebel sind dabei auf Kipphebelachsen gelagert und werden mit Schmieröl aus dem Schmierölkreislauf geschmiert. Das aus den Lagerstellen in den Kipphebelraum 16 abtropfende Schmieröl wird durch eine Ölrücklaufbohrung 18 in das Kurbelgehäuse abgeleitet.From Figure 2 it can be seen that the control bore 8 is provided next to a rocker arm 16. Hierdurch wird auf baulich einfache Weise der Steuerkolben 8 in der Steuerbohrung 10 von einem Teil des aus dem Kipphebelraum 16 in das Kurbelgehäuse abgeführten Schmierols geschmiert. Um hierbei eine ge­zielte Schmierung des Führungsabschnitts 11 am Steuerkol­ben 8 zu erreichen, ist die Verbindungsöffnung 19 in dem verjüngten Teil der Steuerbohrung 10 vorgesehen. Hierdurch wird gleichzeitig der unter dem Steuerkolben 8 liegende Raum über die Verbindungsöffnung 19 zum Kurbelgehäuse hin entlüftet.According to the invention, it is now provided that the oil return bore 18 is provided with a connection opening 19 to the control bore 10. Claims (3)

1. Motorbremsvorrichtung für eine Brennkraftmaschine mit einem im Zylinderkopf angeordneten Drosselventil zur Steuerung einer zwischen einem Zylinder und einem Auslaß­kanal liegenden Drosselöffnung und mit einem das Drossel­ventil betätigenden Steuerkolben, der in einer Steuerboh­rung im Zylinderkopf eingesetzt und während des Bremsvor­ganges mit Druckluft beaufschlagt ist und ferner mit im Zylinderkopf in einem Kipphebelraum angeordneten Kipphe­beln zum Betätigen der Gaswechselventile, wobei die Lager der Kipphebel mit Schmieröl aus dem Schmierölkreislauf der Brennkraftmaschine geschmiert werden und wobei aus den Lagern in den Kipphebelraum abtropfendes Schmieröl durch eine Ölrücklaufbohrung in das Kurbelgehäuse abgeleitet wird,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Ölrücklaufbohrung (18) mit einer Verbindungsöff­nung (19) zur Steuerbohrung (10) versehen ist.
