Claims (10)

  1. Device for sorting parts, in particular parts having different shapes and dimensions, essentially consisting of a cylindrical container (1) for receiving the elements to be separated and having an opening (2) in its vertical wall and of a conical element (3) which forms the movable base thereof and is set into rotation, characterised in that the conical element (3) is arranged beneath the cylindrical container (1) and is provided with a means (4) for adjusting the distance between the conical element (3) and the lower portion of the wall of the cylindrical container (1).
  2. Device according to claim 1, characterised in that the cylindrical container (1) is advantageously in the form of a vertical wall which extends round a portion of a circle and of which the opening (2) is defined at one end by a second vertical wall (5) perpendicular to the tangent passing through the first wall and intended to retain the parts shed by the mould.
  3. Device according to any one of claims 1 and 2, characterised in that the conical element (3) arranged beneath the cylindrical container (1) is set into rotation by means of a friction clutch (6) and a reduction motor unit (7) or a direct current motor equipped with a variable-speed drive unit which are preferably mounted on the shaft (8) supporting the conical element (3).
  4. Device according to any one of claims 1 and 3, characterised in that the surface of the conical element (3) advantageously has grooves, striae or slight furrows (24) along its generatrices, these grooves, striae or furrows extending inside the perimeter defined by the container (1).
  5. Device according to claim 1, characterised in that the means (4) for adjusting the distance between the conical element (3) and the lower portion of the wall of the cylindrical container (1) consists of a supporting bearing (9) which is integral with the external face of the wall of the cylindrical container (1) and is equipped with a blind receiver (10) co-operating with a vertical guide means (11) in the form of a shaft and of a screw rod (12) penetrating said vertical guide means (11), this rod (12) being provided with a device (13) for starting up rotation in the form of a knurled button or a crank handle resting on the external face of the receiver (10) and being held in said receiver (10) by means of a shoulder (14) or an added ring.
  6. Device according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the lower portion of the wall of the cylindrical container (1) is advantageously provided with a truncated cone-shaped flap (15) extending toward the exterior of the container (1) in parallel with the conical element (3).
  7. Device according to claim 1, characterised in that it comprises two cylindrical containers (16 and 17) for receiving elements or parts to be separated, which have different diameters and are mounted concentrically, on the one hand, to the conical element (3′) and, on the other hand, to one another, these containers (16 and 17) being provided with a common retaining plate (18) extending radially and closing the overflow region, and the cylindrical container (17) of greater diameter being provided with a movable inclined wall (19) for retaining and discharging sorted parts, which co-operates with an orifice (20) provided for this purpose in the wall of the container (17).
  8. Device according to claim 7, characterised in that the containers (16 and 17) are vertically adjustable relative to the conical element (3′) by means of guiding and adjustment devices equipped with a screw (21) and co-operating with a support (22).
  9. Device according to claim 8, characterised in that the movable inclined wall (19) for retaining and discharging sorted parts is advantageously fixed on a slider (23) mounted adjustably in position on the wall of the container (17) by means of screws.
  10. Device according to any one of claims 1, 2, 4, 7 and 9, characterised in that the vertical wall (5), the common retaining plate (18) and the movable inclined wall (19) are advantageously provided, on their side turned toward the conical element (3 or 3′), with a flexible strip co-operating with the surface of said conical element (3 or 3′), thus allowing the passage of the grooves, striae or slight furrows (24) provided at the surface thereof.
