Abstract
Description
The subject of the present invention is a ski boot consisting of at least one lower part intended to surround the foot and the heel and a rod articulated on this lower part and comprising, at the rear, connecting means between the rod and the lower part, these connecting means comprising means for fixing or releasing the rod in rotation relative to the lower part, means for adjusting the inclination of the rod relative to the lower part by a screw / nut system, at least one elastic element, and means for adjusting the elasticity of this elastic element.
Such a shoe is described in document DE-A-2 057 094. In this shoe, the lower part of the connecting bar is screwed into a nut rotatably mounted in a support integral with the shell and in which it is retained axially. This nut is intended to be driven in rotation for adjusting the inclination of the upper of the shoe. The upper part of the connecting bar has a collar mounted between two springs working in compression in a tube integral with the upper of the shoe. The device does not release the upper of the shoe to allow it to oscillate in the walking and resting position.
According to another embodiment described in this same document, the rod and the shell are connected by a connecting bar, the lower part of which has perforations in which engages a lock mounted on the shell and making it possible to obtain several different inclinations of the shoe upper. The lock can further be kept in the unlocked position, so that the rod can oscillate. These two executions are however not let without other combine them so as to have simultaneously a continuous and fine adjustment of the inclination of the rod and a release of this rod.
From document FR-A-2 513 496, a ski boot is also known, the rod of which, articulated on the shell, is connected to the shell, at the rear, by a screw with two threads of opposite pitch provided a drive wheel, part of which is screwed into a stud secured to the shell and the other part is screwed into a bar, the upper end of which is provided with a nut allowing the pre-compression of the two springs to be adjusted coaxial housed in a cage mounted sliding on the upper of the shoe, but capable of being locked on this upper by a cleat articulated on the upper. The link bar is therefore here made up of two parts and requires three left and right threads.
Document EP-A-0206 394 describes a device with adjustable elasticity consisting of a block of non-compressible elastic material, the expansion of which, during axial pressure, is controlled by a rigid sleeve displaceable around the elastic block. This device is mounted between a rod, articulated on the shell, and the shell, at the front or at the rear of the shoe. This elastic device has the advantage, in addition to great simplicity, of having no prestressing at rest.
The present invention aims to achieve a compact device, simpler and without spring, filling the three functions mentioned above, namely locking and unlocking of the upper of the shoe, continuous adjustment of the inclination of this upper and adjustment of the flexural strength of this upper.
La chaussure selon l'invention est définie à la revendication 1.The shoe according to the invention is defined in
The connecting means according to the invention make it possible to achieve the three desired functions with very simple means.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the invention.
Figure 2 is a back view of the shoe.
It comprises a lower or lower part of the
On the
The
If the user wishes to modify the inclination of the
The bending elasticity of the
The connection between the upper and the lower part of the shoe is however rigid as regards the tilting of the upper backwards. However, it would be without other possibility to introduce an elastic element either between the upper end of the
The lock could be made differently.
