Shoe according to Claim 2, of the type with front entry, in which the tightening of the upper (12) of the shoe is effected by means of a cable (36) surrounding the front of the upper and which is hooked to a pivoting lever (37) provided with a plurality of hooking notches (38) in order to obtain various degrees of tightening, characterized in that the tightening lever (37) is articulated about a pin (39) on an outer fork joint (41) which may slide horizontally with respect to the wall of the upper (12), the fork joint (41) is connected, inside the upper (12), to a front end of a bearing band (44) which extends along the inner face of the upper (12), this bearing band (44) comprising a rear part (44a) which extends above the pawl (28) and which may be housed in an inner groove (46) of the rear wall of the upper (12) and the bearing band (44) is normally urged rearwardly by a compression spring (47).
8. Shoe according to Claim 7, characterized in that the web of the fork joint (41) is traversed by a rivet (42) which extends through a horizontal slot (43) made in the wall of the upper (12), this rivet (42) being fixed to the front end of the bearing band (44).
9. Shoe according to either one of Claims 7 and 8, characterized in that the spring (47) is housed in a horizontal slot (48) made in the front part of the bearing band (44), it abuts at its front end on a shoulder (49) projecting in the slot (48) and issuing from the wall of the upper (12) and it abuts, at its rear end, on the rear edge of the slot (48).
