Bekanntlich besteht de Hauptanforderung an einen sol­chen Schonbezug, soll er für unter Inkontinenz leiden­de Menschen geeignet sein, darin, daß er zumindest in dem Auflagerbereich des Patienten wasserdicht und für dessen Stuhl und Harn undurchlässig ist. Aus diesem Grunde hat man in bisher bekannter Weise das einen sol­chen Schonbezug bildende Spannbettuch aus einem ent­sprechenden Kunststoff hergestellt, es sei denn, daß man statt dessen einfach eine lose Kunststoff-Unterlage ver­wendet hat. Da in beiden Fällen eine solche Kunststoff­lage zum unmittelbaren Auflegen des Patienten nicht ge­eignet ist, zumal er auf ihr zum Schwitzen gelangt, wird in bisher bekannter Weise dieses Kunststoff-Spannbettuch bzw. diese Kunststoff-Unterlage mit einem gesonderten Textillaken abgedeckt, auf der dann der Patient zum Lie­gen kommt.As is known, there is the main requirement for such a protective cover, if it is to be suitable for people suffering from incontinence, is that it is waterproof, at least in the support area of the patient, and impermeable to the chair and urine. Einer­seits verrutscht die Kunststoff-Unterlage gegenüber der von ihr abgedeckten Matratze, ebenso wie sich das oben befindliche Textillaken gegenüber der sich darunter er­streckenden Kunststoff-Unterlage verschiebt, wodurch sich beide Flächengebilde zusammenballen und Falten verursachen, so daß ein glattes Aufliegen des Patienten nicht gewähr­liestet ist. Andererseits muß nach Gebrauch eines solchen bekannten Schonbezuges sowohl dessen Kunststoff-Spann­bettuch bzw. -unterlage als auch der darüber befindliche Textillaken jeweils für sich gesäubert werden, wodurch zwei Reinigungsvorgänge notwending sind. Auch macht die getrennte Bevorratung von Kunststoff-Unterlage und Textil­laken zusätzliche Mühe. Da alle diese Arbeiten häufig vom Pflegepersonal gern vermieden werden wollen, wird von ihm oft das Textillaken bei der Einbettung des Patienten weggelassen, so daß dieser unmittelbar auf der Kunststoff-­Unterlage mit allen dadurch gegebenen Unzuträglichkeiten aufliegt.As a result, there are very significant disadvantages. Diese Aufgabe ist bei einem solchen Schonbezug gemäß der Erfindung dadurch gelöst, daß die Unterseite seines Tuch­stückes zumindest in einem mittleren Teil seines die Matratzenoberseite abdeckenden Bereichs mit einer für Stuhl und Harn des Patienten undurchlässignen Beschichtung aus Kunststoff wie Polyvinylchlorid oder Polyurethan ver­sehen ist. Bei einem solchen Schonbezug ist ein gegensei­tiges Verrutschen oder Zusammenballen seiner Lagen nicht möglich, vielmehr ein stets glattes Liegen des Tuchstücks ohne dessen Faltenbildung gewährleistet. Dies ist darauf zurückzuführen, daß die Kunststoff-Beschichtung mit der Unterseite des Tuchstückes innig verbunden ist. So be­nötigt man über den Schonbezug mit seinem wasserdichten Teilbereich hinaus kein zusätzliches Textillaken, was die Bevorratung und Reinigungsarbeit wesentlich erleich­tert. Der gesamte Schonbezug ist einschließlich seiner Kunststoff-Beschichtung mit 95° C koch-, waschmaschinen- und tumblerfest sowie urin- und schweißbeständig und auch leicht desinfizierbar. Das aus Frottee-Stretch be­stehende Tuchstück ist schweißaufsaugend, verhindert jeg­liches Schwitzen des Patienten und verhindert auch ein Aufliegen desselben bei Bettlägrigkeit, ja regt sogar dessen Durchblutung an. Erstreckt sich die Kunststoff-­Beschichtung der Unterseite des Tuchstückes nur auf ei­nen mittleren Teil dessen die Matratzenoberseite ab­deckenden Bereichs, bleibt die Matratze außerhalb des­selben - im Gegensatz zu insgesamt wasserdichten Schon­bezügen unter dem Bettuch - atmungsaktiv und trocken. Es ist zwar auch bereits bekannt (CH-PS 289 023), Ma­tratzen dadurch urinfest zu machen, indem man sie mit ei­nem urinbeständigen Überzug einhüllt, der aus einem min­destens einseitig mit einem Kunstharz überzogenen Textil­gewebe besteht, dessen sich überlappende Teile durch Kle­bung oder schweißen verbunden sind; ein solcher Überzug hüllt aber die Matratze auf allen deren Seiten dicht und ständig ein, läßt ihr also keinerlei Atmungsmöglichkeit, macht sie vielmehr nach gewisser Gebrauchszeit stickig, bietet aber vor allem nicht die Möglichkeit, nach Be­schmutzung zwecks Reinigung abgenommen, also gewechselt werden zu können, und macht daher die Auflage eines zu­sätzlichen Textillakens notwendig. Solche durch Kunst­stoffbeschichtung wasserundurchlässigen Textilgewebe­bezüge für von ihnen völlig umschlossene Matratzen sind im übrigen vielfach bekannt (DE-GM 16 92 250, DE-GM 18 02 366), auch wenn sie teilweise Atmungs­freiheit zulassende Öffnungen aufweisen (GB-PS 899 315), ohne jedoch auf ein zusätzliches Bettlaken verzichten zu können. Es ist aber auch schon ein Schutzüberzug für Matratzen bekannt (DE-GM 17 47 176), der aufgrund einer seitlich taschenförmigen Ausbildung die Matratze an deren Unterseite nicht völlig umschließt, von ihr also abnehm­bar ist, jedoch aus einem z.B. gegen Nässe mit Kunst­stoff imprägnierten Gewebe besteht, das daher ebenso die Verwendung eines zusätzlichen Textillakens notwendig macht.
