Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a container open at the top for receiving compressible waste, in particular for receiving protective liners from special waste containers, with a base part and side walls consisting of rods directed from the base to the upper edge.
Known containers of the type mentioned above are set up at transshipment points for special waste containers, ie at places where special waste containers are emptied and cleaned. These special waste containers are lined with plastic films that prevent direct contact of the contents with the container wall. After a special waste container has been emptied, the plastic film lining the container is often also removed. Of course, this is still with remnants of the if necessary. contaminated liquid or pasty waste. These contaminated plastic films are usually disposed of by being fed to an incinerator. However, since it is not worthwhile to transport individual plastic films to the incineration plant, they are temporarily stored until one is sufficient from an economic point of view Number of plastic films, so-called protective liners, have been collected.
The containers of the type shown at the beginning, which hold these protective liners, have the disadvantage that they are quickly filled in practice by inflated foils. There is also the danger that foils lying on top are caught and entrained by the wind blowing into the open container.
It is therefore the task of developing a generic container in such a way that protective liners in particular can be collected from waste collection containers in a space-saving manner, while at the same time they can be secured in the container.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by the characterizing part of the main claim. Accordingly, holding elements are arranged one above the other on opposite rods so that push-through holding rods can be received and held over the width or length of the container while compressing the compressible waste. In this container according to the invention, the films, some of which are still filled with air, can be compressed with one or more holding rods. For this purpose, the rods are pressed down so that the foils are compressed. When you let go, the resilient protective liners are then pressed into the rod-fixed holding elements. As a result, the protective liners are kept in a compressed form and additionally secured.
Advantageously, the container according to the invention can be used not only for protective liners made from special waste containers, but for all Use easily compressible waste, such as plastic film, thin cardboard, packing paper, etc.
Advantageously, the side walls of the container can be inclined such that the container widens conically from the bottom part. This considerably simplifies emptying, which is done by tipping over the container.
The rods which form the side walls consist essentially of tubes which are welded at the end opposite the base part to a tube forming an edge. This provides a stable and easy to manufacture embodiment of the container.
The holding elements advantageously consist of welded prongs angled towards the base part.
The bottom part can be designed as a collecting trough, which can advantageously prevent any liquid or pasty waste residues that run out of the protective liners from being caught. This can prevent contamination of the soil.
Profiles can be arranged below the base plate, into which the receiving tools of a transport vehicle or system can engage. For example, rectangular profiles can be welded in at such a distance that the tines of a forklift can engage in them. As an alternative to this, however, corresponding receiving profiles for receiving tools of refuse compactors or the like can also be arranged on the side walls in order to be able to drive the container with a refuse compactor in the emptying system.
The distances between the bars forming the container walls are advantageously so great that forks of a forklift truck can intervene. As a result, the forklift can advantageously be used to compress the foils.
A method for filling containers can advantageously consist in that compressible waste is compacted after filling, that several holding rods are placed on the surface of the compressed waste and hooked into the holding elements under their counterpressure and held there and that this process is repeated several times, the layers between the layers can be pulled out after the holding rods have been hooked over the uppermost layer. The protective liner or other easily compressible waste material can be stacked and compressed in layers in the container according to their batch-wise accumulation until the container is filled.
The compression of the compressible waste after filling can be done directly manually via the support rods, but can be carried out in an advantageous manner by means of the forks of a forklift truck.

The
Instead of pipes, flat or angle iron can also be used to manufacture the container.
On
As can be seen from FIG. 2, the side walls consisting of the
Below the base plate are
