Abstract
Description
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung zum exemplarweisen Beschriften, beispielsweise zum Adressieren, von in einem Schuppenstrom anfallenden Druckereiprodukten gemäss dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruches 1.The present invention relates to a device for exemplary labeling, for example for addressing, of printing products occurring in a shingled stream according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
Eine solche, zum Adressieren bestimmte Einrichtung ist aus der EP-PS 00 96 228 (weitgehend inhaltsgleich mit der US-PS 4 538 161) bekannt. Bei dieser Einrichtung ist die Fördervorrichtung ein mit Greifern bestückter Einzelförderer. Jeder Greifer befördert jeweils ein Druckereiprodukt, indem er dieses an seiner vorlaufenden Kante fasst. Die nachlaufende Kante gleitet dagegen auf einem Gleittisch, der im Bereich des Tintenstrahlschreibers angeordnet ist. Dieser Tintenstrahlschreiber weist mehrere Spritzköpfe auf, die von unten her auf die nachlaufenden Kanten des Druckereiproduktes gerichtet sind, welche Kanten seitlich über den Gleittisch vorstehen. Der Tintenstrahlschreiber wird von Steuersignalen angesteuert, die von einem an den Einzelförderer gekoppelten Geber erzeugt werden, so dass u. a. die Schreibgeschwindigkeit des Tintenstrahlschreibers auf die Fördergeschwindigkeit des Einzelförderers abgestimmt ist. Ausserdem ist dem Einzelförderer ein Detektor zugeordnet, der auf vorbeilaufende, leere Greifer anspricht und dann das Steuersignal unterdrückt. Damit wird vermieden, dass im kontinuierlich über den Gleittisch gleitenden Strom von Druckereiprodukten ein auf einen leeren Greifer folgendes Druckereiprodukt mit zwei Adressen be schriftet wird. Die Adressen werden übrigens aus einem den Tintenstrahlschreiber ebenfalls ansteuernden Adressenspeicher abgerufen.Such a device intended for addressing is known from EP-PS 00 96 228 (largely identical in content to US Pat. Dies ist bei der "Videojet-Mailer" genannten Einrichtung der Fall, die von der A.B. Dick Company, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, vertrieben wird. Dabei ist zu beachten, dass eine Vereinzelung und die damit notwendigerweise einhergehende Erhöhung der Fördergeschwindigkeit der Druckereiprodukte nicht nur etwa deswegen unerwünscht ist, weil die mögliche Schreibgeschwindigkeit des Tintenstrahlschreibers der erhöhten Fördergeschwindikgeit nicht gewachsen ist, sondern auch deswegen, weil nach einer Vereinzelung die Druckereiprodukte für die weitere Verarbeitung im allgemeinen wieder in eine geschuppte Formation zu überführen sind, und weil eine Vereinzelung des gesamten Ausstosses einer modernen Druckereipresse zu so hohen Fördergeschwindigkeiten führen würde, die vergleichsweise schwer zu beherrschen und mit dem Risiko der Beschädigung der einzelnen Druckereiprodukte behaftet sind.This known device has proven itself insofar as it is not necessary to isolate the resulting flow of printed products to such an extent that gaps arise between successive printed products, which gaps e.g. be scanned photoelectrically in order to then trigger the start of a further labeling process. Die Walzen 13 bis 15 der Walzenbahn 12 beziehen ihren Antrieb von der letzten Umlenkwalze 23 der Förderbandes 11, beispielsweise über ein Winkelgetriebe 24, einen Kettentrieb 25 und ein weiteres Winkelgetriebe 26, wobei die Walzen 13 bis 15 mittels weiteren Kettentrieben 27 und 28 aneinander gekoppelt sind. Der Walze 13 ist hier beispielsweise eine zu dieser parallelachsige Anpressrolle 29 zugeordnet, deren Abstand von der Anpressrolle 22 etwa der in Richtung 17 gemessenen Abmessung einer Zeitung 20 entspricht. Damit wird jeder, die Anpressrollen 21, 22 verlassenden Zeitung 20 sofort die Förderrichtung 18 der Walzenbahn 12 aufgezwungen. Dabei ist es vorteilhaft, das Uebersetzungsverhältnis des zu den Walzen 13 bis 15 führenden Antriebes so zu wählen, dass die Fördergeschwindigkeit der Walzenbahn 12 eine Komponente aufweist, die gleich gross und parallel zur Fördergeschwindigkeit des Förderbandes 11 ist. Damit kann die seitliche Verschiebung des Exemplares möglichst ruckfrei geschehen.The
Dem Ende der Walzenbahn 12 ist eine seitliche Anschlagsschiene 30 zugeordnet, die die von der Walzenbahn 12 schräg transportierten Zeitungen 20 nach ihrer in Förderrichtung gesehen linken Seitenkante ausrichtet. Ein Schreibvorgang des Tintenstrahlschreibers 34′ wird durch einen Sensor, hier beispielsweise einer Lichtschranke bestehend aus Lichtquelle 34 und Lichtempfänger 35 ausgelöst. Dieser Sensor steuert über eine Zentraleinheit 36 die Schreibköpfe 31, 32, 33 über individuelle Steuereinheiten 37, 38 und 39 an.
