Aus der praktischen Anwendung ist bei einer Handfeuerwaffe eine Montage­einrichtung für ein Reflexvisier vorgesehen, die relativ hoch baut, wo­durch das Reflexvisier in der Visierlinie zur Laufseelenachse gemessen für die Bedienungsperson zu hoch liegt. Die Schützen können nicht mehr den für sie gewohnten Waffenanschlag beibehalten. Außerdem verändert sich die Treffpunktlage bei einer zu hohen Anordnung des Reflexvisiers negativ. Die Befestigung des Doppel-T-Formstücks erfolgt nun einmal durch die Verschraubung der rückwärtigen Lasche mit dem Waffen­gehäuse und zum anderen durch eine zumindest auf einer Seite des Waffengehäuses in eine Längsrille oder Längsnut eingreifende Pratze. Diese Haltepratze ist einfach durch eine Schraube mit dem Doppel-­T-Formstück verschraubt. Diese einfachen Befestigungsmittel sichern das Reflexvisier einmal in der axialen Lage und verhindern Verschiebungen in Axialrichtung und halten das Reflexvisier außerdem parallel zur Seelenachse des Waffenrohres durch die seitlich angebrachten Halte­pratzen. Dabei wird dieses Doppel-T-Formstück 2 so angeordnet, daß es eine nach oben offene, U-förmige Aufnahme 6 für das Reflexvisier 1 bildet, welches in diese Ausnehmung 6 eingelegt und dort befestigt ist.
Mit dem nach unten offenen, U-förmigen Profil 7 umgreift das Doppel-T-­Formstück 2 das Oberteil 3 des Waffengehäuses 4. Im hinteren Bereich an das Formstück 2 ist eine Lasche 8 einstückig angesetzt, welche in einer Bohrung eine Gewindemutter 9 aufnimmt, die bis in das Waffen­gehäuse 4 einschraubbar ist. Über diese Verschraubung 9 des Form­stücks 2 mit dem Waffengehäuse 4 ist die axiale Position des Formstücks 2 sichergestellt.
