Abstract

The container consists of flexible material, essentially of a round fabric made of polyolefins, on whose upper edge in this case four loops (1) are sewn. In this case, the arrangement is such that each loop (1) consists of a relatively wide strip of material, both ends (2, 2') of which overlap the upper container edge (10) and are sewn to the latter spaced apart laterally, and whose central part (3), forming the suspension eye, is drawn together in the manner of a tape. By this means, loops are formed in a relatively simple manner, adjoining which loops there is a large number of warp threads of the round fabric and which in this way have a high load-bearing capacity, the resistance to tensile force at the loops themselves being increased by being drawn together. <IMAGE>

Description

The present invention relates to a container made of flexible material, essentially a round fabric made of polyolefins.

Säcke aus solchen Geweben sind chemikalienbeständig, wasserunempfindlich, hygienisch, atmungsaktiv, unverrottbar u.a.In many areas of application, sacks made from a round fabric have proven to be a suitable packaging material, whereby in addition to jute, polyolefins, such as polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene (PE), which have been woven in the form of flat ribbons, have become established as the sack material. Sacks made from such fabrics are chemical-resistant, water-insensitive, hygienic, breathable, rot-proof, etc.

In order to be able to use such woven sacks also for the finest grain and hygroscopic bulk goods, such as cement, it is known to insert an inner sack made of moisture-impermeable material, for example a blown polyethylene film, in the weaving sack.

In many cases there is now a desire to be able to use such known bags with or without an inner bag, even in the order of magnitude of the container area, with a filling weight of, for example, 1000 and more kilograms. There are generally no problems with the tensile strength of the materials used for such sacks, however, the load capacity of such containers is limited by the previously known, usually sewn-on loops for transporting the containers by means of lifting devices, such as a crane and the like , because the previous narrow loops made of polyamide fabrics or the like. can transfer the weight to just a few warp threads. Accordingly, the loops have already been strapped, but this is no longer economical with the associated material and production costs. But the latter in particular is of the greatest importance in the case of mass articles, as represented by the packaging materials in question here.

The object of the invention is now to provide a container of the aforementioned type, the loops of which transmit the tensile force when lifting the load to significantly more warp threads without the need for reinforcements, lower straps and the like. and with inexpensive production.

This is achieved according to the invention in that each loop consists of a relatively wide strip of material, the two ends of which overlap the upper edge of the container and are sewn laterally spaced apart therefrom, and the central part of which forms the suspension eye and is tied together in a band.

As can easily be seen, the ends of the material strip now lie on a large number of warp threads over a large area, so that there is also a correspondingly high load-bearing capacity, the tensile strength on the loop itself being additionally increased by the band-like pulling together. The large ends of the material strip can also be sewn well, resulting in a very inexpensive container. As a result, a lighter fabric can be used for the container jacket than before for the same loads. Appropriate configurations of the container according to the invention result when the middle part of each loop is pulled together like a band by simply or repeatedly twisting the material strip before it is sewn to the upper container edge, or when the middle part of each loop is pulled together like a band by gathering or folding, in which case the band-like central part preferably has at least one, preferably central transverse seam in order to prevent the band-like center part from popping open.

It can also be advantageous if the material strip forming a loop is made from a flat, round fabric consists of polyolefins.

It is advantageous if the round fabric consists of polypropylene or polyethylene tapes.

Further advantages result from the exemplary embodiment of the subject matter described below with reference to the drawing, which shows a container in a diagram-like representation.

The container shown made of flexible material consists essentially of a round fabric 20 made of polypropylene tapes, which form warp threads 6 and weft threads 5. An intended inner bag made of, for example, a polyethylene film can be recognized by an inlet 23 or. Outlet 26, each of which a valve 24 of a cover sheet 21 or. Penetrate valve 25 of a bottom sheet 22. The valves can be closed by means of a cord 28. Cover sheet 21 and bottom sheet 22 are webs of a film or a fabric. Containers of this type are known per se and have two or more loops on the upper edge.

According to the invention, each loop 1 is now formed from a relatively wide strip of material from a woven fabric, a flat circular fabric or the like. The aforementioned materials, the two ends of which are 2 and. 2 ′ the upper container Overlap the edge 10 and are sewn laterally spaced apart from each other with a few seams 7 approximately parallel to the weft threads 5, as is made clear by the illustration.

In this case, the central part 3 forming the suspension eye is further put together like a band in order to be able to hook this part up. As shown, this can be done by simply or repeatedly twisting the material strip before sewing it onto the upper container edge, or else by gathering or folding. A central transverse seam 4 then prevents it from jumping open.

Thus, while maintaining a narrow, band-shaped or rope-shaped suspension eyelet, a large fastening surface covering a large number of warp threads is achieved, which results in maximum load-bearing capacity with comparatively low material and manufacturing expenditure, so that all of the aforementioned requirements for such containers are fully and optimally met.

A width of at least 90 mm or more for the material strip forming a loop has been found to be expedient.

The greatest elasticity with the highest load-bearing capacity is also achieved if the round fabric of the container jacket and / or the material strip forming the loops has warp threads lying two or more times one above the other.
