Description

The invention relates to a dosing store for receiving and dispensing a laundry treatment liquid according to the features of the preamble of claim 1.

Dosing stores for receiving and dispensing a laundry treatment liquid have become known in various configurations. From US-T 993 001, for example, a metering memory is known, which is filled with a laundry treatment liquid and fed into a washing machine. The dosing reservoir is initially closed. In a certain cycle of the washing machine, the spin cycle, it opens due to a weight attached to the closure part. The centrifugal force overcomes the closing force of the lid. A metering memory which works on the same principle is also known from US Pat. No. 3,888,391. Furthermore, US Pat. No. 2,941,309 discloses a metering memory which has openings which cannot be closed. The laundry treatment liquid can escape immediately at the beginning of a washing machine cycle or the like. The dosing store in question is, for example, water which is added to the laundry for moistening in order to set the appropriate ironing moisture.

However, the known dosing stores are not yet satisfactory in every respect. In the case of dosing stores, which only lock in a certain cycle of a washing machine open cycle, the laundry treatment liquid cannot be added immediately after the laundry treatment has started. On the other hand, it is desirable that a dosing reservoir is closed at least when it is inserted into the washing machine. Slight changes in position or a slightly tilted position of the dosing reservoir after insertion in the washing machine should not immediately lead to a - complete - opening.

In addition, the dosing reservoir should be designed to be as advantageous as possible in terms of use, that is to say it can be handled simply and reliably.

In view of the described prior art, the object of the invention is to provide a metering memory which is closed when it is inserted into the washing machine and is in particular more advantageous in use.

This object is achieved in particular in the case of a metering store with the features of claim 1.

The dosing reservoir according to the invention for receiving and dispensing a laundry treatment liquid in a washing machine has a closure which can be opened during the laundry treatment and which is formed by a closure plate which is pivotally mounted in the interior of the dosing reservoir and which closes the outlet opening of the dosing reservoir from the inside. The oscillating mounting of the locking plate allows the dosing reservoir to be filled if the same is tilted accordingly. When the dosing reservoir is then brought into a vertical position again, the closure plate is pushed inside the dosing reservoir over the outlet opening. The diameter of the closure plate is advantageously larger than the outlet opening, so that slight deflections from the vertical do not yet lead to an opening of the metering reservoir. Due to the onset of drum movement in a washing machine When the metering accumulator wobbles, the pendulum-mounted closure plate moves away from the outlet opening and the laundry treatment liquid can escape into the washing liquid. The oscillating mounting of the closure plate can even be set such that the outlet opening is only released with a damped movement, that is to say a gush-like leakage of the laundry treatment liquid is largely avoided. The locking plate is preferably provided with a storage rod which has a counterweight and is suspended such that it can swing in relation to the locking plate with respect to its center of gravity. The displacement of the suspension point or the storage location of the support rod towards the locking plate ensures that the locking plate is in the closed position when the dosing reservoir is installed vertically. Likewise, the deflection of the breech plate up to the complete opening of the outlet opening of the dosing reservoir is given with a corresponding shift of the dosing reservoir, since the counterweight tends to keep the storage rod with the closure plate attached to it in the vertical. With regard to the attachment of the bearing rod in the metering reservoir, it is provided in a further embodiment that the bearing rod is coupled by means of a ball joint for free oscillation with a bearing axis running approximately perpendicular to the bearing rod in the idle state. The bearing axis is held in opposite wall areas of the metering reservoir. The ball-and-socket joint can be formed by a ball which is fixedly attached to the bearing axis and has a shell-like shape in its equatorial region, while the bearing rod passes through the poles. In this embodiment, the bearing rod can move freely in all directions within the limit given by the shell-like frame. It is also possible to implement the coupling of the bearing rod to the bearing axis by means of a suitable ball bearing joint.

It is also preferred that the metering reservoir has a flattened area in its area opposite the outlet opening to form a standing surface.

  • Fig. 1 einen Querschnitt durch einen erfindungsgemäßen Dosierspeicher, in senkrechter Stellung;
  • Fig. 2 den Dosierspeicher gemäß Fig. 1, in gekippter Stellung;
  • Fig. 3 eine Einzeldarstellung der mit der Lagerungsachse gekoppelten Lagerungsstange;
The invention is explained below with reference to the accompanying drawing, which, however, only represents an exemplary embodiment. It shows on this drawing:
  • Figure 1 shows a cross section through a metering store according to the invention, in the vertical position.
  • FIG. 2 the dosing reservoir according to FIG. 1, in the tilted position;
  • 3 shows an individual illustration of the bearing rod coupled to the bearing axis;
  • Fig. 4 is a detailed representation of the coupling between the bearing axis and the bearing rod.

Shown and described is a dosing store 1, which is used to hold and dispense a laundry treatment liquid in a washing machine or the like. The metering reservoir 1 has a closure which can be opened automatically during laundry treatment and which is formed by the closure plate 2 in cooperation with the outlet opening or also filling opening 3. The outlet opening 3 can be closed from the inside by means of the closure plate 2. The locking plate 2 is pivoted by the support rod 4 firmly connected to this. At the storage rod 4 there is a counterweight 5 at the other end.

In the case of a cross-sectionally circular configuration of at least the upper wall area of the metering reservoir 1, which contains the outlet opening 3, the closure plate 2 is adapted to be spherically curved (cf. also FIG. 3).

Fig. 2 bzw. The storage rod 4 is shifted with respect to its center of gravity 6 (center of gravity when the locking plate and counterweight are attached) to the locking plate 2 so that it can swing at 7. The locking plate 2 or the counterweight 5 each describe a circular movement, possibly within a space cone, around this suspension point. The pendulous suspension of the bearing rod 4 is, as can be seen in particular from FIG. 4, realized in detail by a ball 8 attached to the bearing rod 4, which ball 8 is contained in its equatorial region by a sleeve element 9 which is attached to a bearing axis 10 . The bearing axis 10 (cf. FIG. 2 or FIG. 3) is fixedly attached to opposite wall areas 11 of the metering reservoir 1. In the idle state or in the vertical position of the metering reservoir 1, as shown in FIG. 1, the bearing rod 4 and the bearing axis 10 run approximately perpendicular to one another.

It is particularly important that the closure plate 2 covers the outlet opening 3 on all sides in the idle state. If the metering reservoir 1 is only slightly deflected from the vertical position, this does not immediately lead to the outlet opening 3 opening.

For filling, the dispenser 1 is tilted approximately into the position shown in FIG. 2. After filling, it is placed in a washing machine. After the drum movement of the washing machine begins, the metering reservoir 1 is deflected due to the wobbling movement and the outlet opening 3 is partially or completely opened. The laundry treatment liquid located in the interior of the metering reservoir 1 can escape and is fed to the wash liquor.

The features of the invention disclosed in the above description, the claims and the drawing can be of importance both individually and in any combination for realizing the invention.
