Description

  • La présente invention a pour objet une structure d'emballage, en particulier en bois, pour le conditionnement, le transport et la manipulation de produits longs, en particulier de produits métallurgiques.
  • Le problème posé consiste à conditionner, en vue de leur transport et de leur manipulation, des produits longs tels que par exemple des tôles.
  • Actuellement, les tôles sont disposées à l'intérieur de caissons en bois sommaires, espacés régulièrement le long des tôles. Les caissons proposés ne confèrent pas une rigidité suffisante à l'ensemble et n'autorisent pas une manipulation efficace soit par transpalette soit par élingues. En outre, les efforts sont mal répartis sur les caissons qui se déforment et peuvent se brise .
  • On a déjà décrit dans le document US-A-3 136 472 des structures d'emballages de ce type, mais qui ne présentent pas de rigidité suffisante pour transporter de gros objets. Ces structures servent uniquement à renforcer des cartons, sans être réellement autoporteuses.
  • La présente invention a pour but de remédier à ces inconvénients.
  • Conformément à l'invention, ce résultat est obtenu avec une structure d'emballage, en particulier en bois, pour le conditionnement, le transport et la manipulation de produits longs, en particulier de produits métallurgiques, se présentant sous la forme d'un caisson autoporteur empilable, composé essentiellement de :
    • un socle du type palette,
    • un plateau supérieur,
    • une pluralité de chevrons verticaux reliant le socle et le plateau, et prenant appui sur ceux-ci, caractérisé en ce que le socle se compose de deux traverses inférieures parallèles sur lesquelles s'appuient deux planches intermédiaires et de deux chevrons d'extrémité parallèles auxdites planches, ledit socle comportant en outre deux traverses supérieures parallèles entre elles et disposées en butée entre les chevrons d'extrémité.
  • De manière avantageuse, le socle et le plateau seront constitués sur leur face dirigée vers l'extérieur chacun de deux traverses parallèles permettant le passage d'une élingue ou d'un feuillard de cerclage.
  • On comprendra mieux l'invention à l'aide de la description faite ci-après en référence aux dessins annexés dans lesquels :
    • la figure 1 est une vue éclatée d'un caisson conforme à l'invention,
    • la figure 2 est une vue éclatée d'une variante de mise en oeuvre.
  • Un caisson conforme à l'invention se compose essentiellement, en référence à la figure 1, de :
    • un socle (1),
    • un plateau supérieur (2),
    • une pluralité de chevrons (3) verticaux, de préférence quatre.
  • Le socle (1) se compose de plusieurs traverses inférieures parallèles (4,5) sur lesquelles s'appuient deux planches intermédiaires (6,7) et de deux chevrons d'extrémité (8,9) parallèles auxdites planches.
  • Le socle comporte en outre deux traverses supérieures (10,11) parallèles entre elles et disposées en butée entre les chevrons d'extrémité (8,9).
  • Les chevrons d'extrémité (8,9) sont décalés en retrait par rapport aux extrémités des traverses (4,5) afin de déterminer des zones d'appui (12,13).
  • Sur ces zones d'appui (12,13) viennent en appui les chevrons (3) munie de deux tenons (14,15).
  • De la même manière, à leur partie supérieure, les tenons coopèrent avec deux planches (16,17) du plateau supérieur (2).
  • Une fois assemblés, par exemple avec des pointes torsadées, les différents éléments forment un caisson autoporteur empilable qui confère à l'ensemble une très grande rigidité.
  • La levée du produit ainsi conditionné est parfaitement horizontale sans déformation, les efforts étant bien répartis sur le socle et le plateau supérieur par les chevrons verticaux.
  • La structure des faces dirigées vers l'extérieur du socle et du plateau supérieur permet le passage d'élingues ou de feuillards.
  • De préférence la structure selon l'invention sera réalisée en bois, car il s'agit d'un emballage perdu, mais rien ne s'oppose pour des applications spécifiques à la réaliser en toute autre matière.
  • Dans la variante de la figure 2, l'assemblage est réalisé par tenons (18,19,20,21) et mortaises (22,23) des chevrons (8,9). Les chevrons verticaux sont reliés et étayés par des tasseaux (24,25) comportant des plages de liaison (26,27) et une zone intermédiaire d'entreboisement (28).
  • L'assemblage primaire est effectué par assemblage des tenons et mortaises.
  • Celui-ci est conforté par l'utilisation de pointes au niveau des traverses supérieures, des montants et des tasseaux.

1. Structure d'emballage, en particulier en bois, pour le conditionnement, le transport et la manipulation de produits longs, en particulier de produits métallurgiques, se présentant sous la forme d'un caisson autoporteur empilable, composé essentiellement de :
- un socle (1) du type palette,
- un plateau supérieur (2),
- une pluralité de chevrons (3) verticaux reliant le socle et le plateau et prenant appui sur ceux-ci, caractérisé en ce que le socle (1) se compose de deux traverses inférieures parallèles (4,5) sur lesquelles s'appuient deux planches intermédiaires (6,7) et de deux chevrons d'extrémité (8,9) parallèles auxdites planches, ledit socle comportant en outre deux traverses supérieures (10,11) parallèles entre elles et disposées en butée entre les chevrons d'extrémité (8,9).
2. Structure d'emballage selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que les chevrons d'extrémité (8,9) sont décalés en retrait par rapport aux extrémités des traverses (4,5) afin de déterminer des zones d'appui (12,13), sur ces zones d'appui (12,13) venant en appui les chevrons (3), munis de deux tenons (14,15), les tenons coopérant de la même manière à leur partie supérieure avec deux planches (16,17) du plateau supérieur (2).
3. Structure d'emballage selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 et 2, caractérisée en ce que les montants comportent des tenons (18, 19, 20, 21) qui coopèrent avec des mortaises, des chevrons (8,9) et des tasseaux (24,25) d'étayage comportant des plages de liaison (26,27) et une zone intermédiaire d'entretoisement (28).
