Um die Reibung zwischen der Verdichtungsfläche des Drehtellers einer Strecke und des darunter befindlichen, in einer Kanne ab­gelegten Faserbandpaketes zu verringern, sind verschiedene Maß­nahmen bekannt geworden. Beispielsweise ist es bekannt (DE-A-­34 07 136), die Verdichtungsfläche durch eine Platte zu erset­zen, die in dem Drehteller drehbar gelagert ist und die somit von der Drehbewegung des Drehtellers unabhängig ist. Es ist auch bekannt geworden, die Verdichtungsfläche des Drehtellers mit einer Beschichtung in Form einer Teflonfolie zu versehen. Diese Beschichtung mit einer Teflonfolie erlaubt zwar einen ge­ringen Reibwert, jedoch hat sie keine ausreichende Standzeit. Weiter ist es auch bekannt, die Verdichtungsfläche und auch den Faserbandkanal zu verchromen. Dabei ist es jedoch notwendig, die Verdichtungsfläche und auch den Faserbandkanal vor dem Ver­chromen zu schleifen und/oder zu polieren, was einen erhebli­chen Aufwand erfordert.Various measures have become known in order to reduce the friction between the compression surface of the turntable of a draw frame and the fiber sliver package located underneath it and placed in a can. Eine derartige Emaillebeschichtung besitzt einen relativ gerin­gen Reibungsbeiwert bezüglich Fasern, so daß eine geringe Rei­bung ausgeübt wird. Außerdem ist eine derartige Emaillebe­schichtung elektrostatisch nicht aufladbar, was zu erheblichen Vorteilen führt. Zudem bietet diese Emaillebeschichtung eine ausreichende Verschleißfestigkeit. Ein besonderer Vorteil be­steht auch darin, daß diese Emaillebeschichtung mit einer rela­tiv großen Dicke aufgebracht werden kann, beispielsweise mit einer Dicke von 0,5 mm, wobei eine glatte Oberfläche erzeugt wird, ohne daß die darunter liegende Fläche sehr fein bearbei­tet werden muß.Such an enamel coating has a relatively low coefficient of friction with respect to fibers, so that little friction is exerted.
