Abstract

Bisher sind üblicherweise das Etuihauptteil und der Deckel eines Etuis über längsseitig angeord­ nete Scharniere miteinander verbunden, so daß ein derartiges Etui im liegenden Zustand zu öffnen ist. Dies erfordert insbesondere bei Etuis für größere Streich- oder Zupfinstrumente einen entsprechend großen Raum. Bei dem erfindungsgemäßen Etui befindet sich die Schwenkachse des Deckels an der stachelsei­ tigen Schmalseite 6, so daß das Etui im aufrecht stehenden Zustand aufklappbar ist. Der Deckel 2 über­ deckt die Bodenseite des Instruments. Im geöffneten Zustand hat der Deckel eine leichte, von dem Etui­ hauptteil wegweisende Wölbung 16. Im Randbereich der umlaufenden Zarge 5 des Deckels sind jeweils eine umlaufende, über die Randkante vorstehende Innendichtung 17 und Außendichtung 18 angebracht, in deren Zwischenraum 19 der Randbereich der Zarge des Etuihauptteils 1 beim Verschließen des Etuis glatt aufgenommen wird.
