Am anderen Ende weist die Gewindespindel einen Griff 23 auf. Die Gewindespindel 21 erstreckt sich durch einen Mutterabschnitt 24, der an der Außenseite einer Platte 25 angebracht ist, die am oberen und am unteren Ende mit abgewinkelten Abschnitten 26, 27 versehen ist. Die abgewinkelten Abschnitte 26, 27 weisen von dem Mutterabschnitt 24 fort. Wie aus Fig. 2 zu erkennen, bildet der untere abgewinkelte Abschnitt 26 ein festes Auflager. Die Abschnitte 26, 27 haben einen Abstand voneinander, der größer ist als die maximale Breite bzw. Höhe der Profilleisten für Fenster- oder Türrahmen. Wie auch Fig. 1 zu erkennen, ist die Platte 25 in einem Endbereich mit zwei Langlöchern 28, 29 versehen, durch die hindurch Feststellschrauben 30, 31 geführt sind zur Befestigung einer Blattfeder 32 an der Innenseite der Platte 25. Von dem befestigten Abschnitt der Blattfeder 32 erstreckt sich ein horizontaler Abschnitt 33, der in einem spitzen Winkel zurückgebogen ist und einen federnden Schenkel 34 bildet, der am Ende rechtwinklig abgebogen ist mit einem Abschnitt 35. Die Abschnitte 34, 35 bilden einen nach unten gerichteten Vorsprung, der sich federnd nachgiebig gegen die Innenfläche des Rahmens 14 anlegt, wobei die Leiste oder erhabene Kante 17 hintergriffen wird. Durch die strichpunktierte Linie 36 ist der entspannte Zustand der Blattfeder 32 angedeutet. Durch die gestrichtelte Linie 37 ist angedeutet, daß die Verstellschrauben 30 die Blattfeder 32 in eine andere Position gebracht haben zwecks Eingriff mit einem Rahmenabschnitt von anderen Abmessungen, wie gestrichelt bei 39 angedeutet.An adjusting and tensioning device 20 can also be seen in FIGS. 1 and 2. The angled sections 26, 27 point away from the nut section 24. As can be seen from FIG. 2, the lower angled section 26 forms a fixed support. The sections 26, 27 are at a distance from one another which is greater than the maximum width or height of the profile strips for window or door frames. As can also be seen in FIG. 1, the plate 25 is provided in one end region with two elongated holes 28, 29 through which locking screws 30, 31 are guided for fastening a leaf spring 32 on the inside of the plate 25. From the fixed portion of the leaf spring 32 extends a horizontal portion 33 which is bent back at an acute angle and forms a resilient leg 34 which is bent at right angles at the end with a portion 35. Wie zu erkennen, kann die aus den Auflagern 26 und 32 und der Platte 25 gebildete Halterung an die Abmessungen der Rahmenabschnitte angepaßt werden. Die Halterung kann einfach auf den Rahmen schnappend aufgesetzt und auch wieder von diesem gelöst werden. Beim Aufsetzen ist die Gewindespindel 20 etwas zurückgeschraubt, wie gestrichelt bei 40 zu erkennen. Anschließend erfolgt mit Hilfe der Vorrichtung 20 die exakte Höheneinstellung des Rahmens 14 durch Heben oder Senken des Rahmens 14, wobei vorzugsweise mindestens zwei Vorrichtungen 20 der gleichen Art am Rahmen 14 angebracht werden. Ist die Höheneinstellung vollzogen, erfolgt die seitliche Ausrichtung des Rahmens durch seine Verschiebung in der Halterung, bis die exakte Position erreicht wird. Anschließend werden mit Hilfe eines Bohrers Löcher in das Mauerwerk 10 gebohrt, wie beispielsweise bei 41 zu erkennen. Die Bohrungen im Rahmenprofil dienen dabei als Bohrlehre. Anschließend wird eine langschäftige Schraube 42 über die Bohrung im Rahmenprofil in die Mauerbohrung 41 eingeschraubt, wobei das Gewinde der Schraube 42 sich auch in die Bohrung im Rahmenprofil einformt so daß mit Hilfe derartiger Schrauben 42 der Rahmen 14 in der durch die Vorrichtung 20 justierten Position endgültig fixiert werden kann. Claims (9)

  1. A device for adjusting and fixing window and door frames or the like in wall openings, comprising at least a manually rotatable threaded spindle (21) resting directly on the opening surface (12) through a base member (22) provided at the free end of the spindle which carries a retainer (25, 26, 32) to be connected to a frame portion, which retainer includes a spindle nut portion (24) and mounting portions (26, 32) to removably engage over distant sides of the frame portion (15), characterized in that the mounting portions (26, 32) extend transverse to the spindle (21), that the retainer includes a fixed mounting portion (26) and that the other mounting portion is provided by a resilient portion (32) of the retainer.
  2. The device of claim 1, characterized in that the fixed mounting portion (26) faces the surface (12) of the opening.
  3. The device of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that a leaf spring (32) is connected to the retainer, the leaf spring including a bent portion (34, 35) to engage an adjacent frame surface.
  4. The device of claim 3, characterized in that the leaf spring (32) includes a projection to engage beyond a raised edge (17) of the frame (15).
  5. The device of one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that a mounting portion (32) is adjustable.
  6. The device of one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the resilient portion (32) is adjustable.
  7. The device of one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the mounting portions (26, 32) are provided on a flat plate (25) which is brought into engagement with the adjacent outer surface of the frame portion.
  8. The device of one of claim 5 or 7, characterized in that the plate (25) includes at least an elongate bore (28, 29) to receive a fixing screw (30, 31) for adjusting the resilient portion (32).
  9. The device of one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that at least the surfaces engaging the frame portion are coated with a relatively soft layer.
