Üblicherweise wurden bisher die Beruhigungssauger aus Naturlatex oder aus Siliconkautschuk in einer Hohlform mit Wandstärken bis zu ca. 2 mm gefertigt, wozu ein Material der Shore A - Härte zwischen 30 und 60 eingesetzt wurde.
