Abstract

On connection (6), a redaction computer (5) puts the signals into a modulator-adapter (7) suitable for the input into a transmission modulator (8). The signal amplified by an amplifier (9) is transmitted into the ether and captured by antennae (11) of users. From these antennae (11), a receiver (12) picks and gives it up to a modulator-adaptor (13) which makes it compatible with a micro-processor (14) acting as as data access-key in order to allow the signal differentiation in only one emission. If the decodified message arrived form the modulator-adapter (13) has correspondence of codification with the micro-processor (14), a device (15) is activated which consists of a printing device or of a magnetic memorizer for computers, if it is about either a text to transmit or a transducer for the control of electrical machinery. Furthermore, to accede to the radaction computer, the user will digitate the reference codes for services and news which can be deduced from tabulates transmitted by the editor. By means of orders, the programme of each peripheral computer will automatically send the necessary data on a line which allows the system to turn out interactive.

Description

  • The invention refers to a system for radio-communication allowing to send news or to perform radio-orders in a selective way and in actual time. The system can be carried out with an operating centre acting as a data bank and to connect also with outer centres with a view to transmitting radio electronic data which can be received by means of devices foreseen for this purpose at the users' disposal.
  • In particular, the system allows industrial advancement: a) in the system of data supply with sectorial interest; b) in publishing enterprises in general; c) in tele-control of machinery and electrical plants; d) in calling process requiring the physical presence of a person when calling and of another person for listening.
  • The exigency of having up-to-date sectorial data is ever more felt by increasing specialistic customers who in it recognize the possibility of having an essential professional information instrument at their disposal. To meet these requirements, books are published, cards and serials as well as audiovisual means and magnetic supports are supplied, seminaries and congresses organized. What precedes require high costs as well as long execution times.
  • The invention system allows to supply the data at the user's home at moderate costs, thus permitting unlimited information without compelling the user to take part to the research. In particular, the system enables the user to receive journal news of general or particular character, such as: bulletins, chronicles or else, thus obviating the necessity of printing the publications and of sending them already manufactured, as a premise of reading, therefore, of learning. The system also allows to perform the control of machinery and equipments from a distance, thus obviating the necessity of carrying out these operations by hand on the spot. Furthermore, the system enables to communicate a message by writing, independently from the vicinity of the reception system of the called subject.
  • Substantially, the system foresees the use of a redaction computer 5 to collect data through either operator- service unit and/or in connection with outer sources of types 1, 2 and 3 connected through jonction 4. The data will be put into the modular-adapter 7 by means of line 6, to then enter into the modulator-transmitter 8 and to be amplified by the amplifier 9 and irradiated by the antenna system 10. The antenna system 11 of the user will pick up the high frequency signals which, through receiver 12, will be transformed into low frequency and given up to a modulator-adapter 13 which makes the data suited for a microprocessor 14 acting as a data access key. Also in only one emission, this allows the differentiation in the reception of the message-data. If the decodified message arrived from the modulator-adapter 13 has a codification correspondence with the one of the microprocessor 14, the device 15 is activated. This equipment 15 may consist either of a printing unit of of a magnetic memorization device for computers, if either an information text or an image is transmitted. The equipment 15 can also consist of a transducer for the control of distant electrical machines or equipments. To enable the user to ask for particular news and/or services, a requiring compartment is foreseen (either 19 or 20 or 21) which integrates the means (either 16 or 17 or 18). This equipment, of either type 19 or 20 or 21, consists of a computer inter connected with the redaction computer 5 by means of line 22. Such connection makes the system interactive. In computer 19 or 20 or 21, the user will digitate the reference codes of the services he intends to receive;alphanumerical codes available from the previous codification carried out by the operator of the redaction computer 5 of all news and/or services which have been memorized in the archives-data bank of computer 5.
  • The system turns out to be interactive, i.e. the data flux passes from the redaction computer to the user, and at the same time this one is enabled to put himself into the redaction computer for particular requirements. This proceeding is carried out when the user digitates the alphanumerical codes foreseen for this purpose by performing the following operations: a) formulation of the connecting number with the redaction computer 5 in the case of telephone contact. This connection can be carried out also by means of radio bridge; b) after having performed the conncection, the unit-user recognizing code is sent for the subsequent order; c) despatch of the special news-service codes for the specific enquiry for the specific service. Functions a), b) and c) will be carried out automatically by means of computers 19 or 20 or 21, compatible with redaction computer 5. The user will only have the task of choosing the news through digitation of the relevant news-codes. The telephone call, if any a), as well as the user's recognizing b), which determines the dialogue opening, will turn out processes carried out by the elaborator. From the execution of the above operations, the redaction computer 5 will have the following data at its disposal: data and hour of the call, number of the unit recognizing the asking user, reason of the call, specific orders. All these data, through the computer 5 elaboration, enable the subsequent sending of the particular service asked for, as well as the performing of periodical statements of account for computing the performances asked for by each user.
  • An execution form of the system is illustrated in a merely indicative form by the drawings of table 1. With reference to this table, fig. 1 is a block scheme of a transmitting device for three users who own receiving equipments as per figures 2, 3 and 4. Fig. 5 is the block scheming of figures 1, 2, 3 and 4 with addition of the devices required for the interaction from the receiving system with the transmitting one as per fig. 1.

Claims (3)

1) System of selective radio communication in actual time, in which the use of redaction computer (5) is foreseen for collecting the data by means of a service unit-operator connected with outer sources (1, 2 and 3) through a connection (4).
