Abstract

A vibrating screen which comprises a housing having screening surfaces, the surfaces forming an angle with respect to each other, and vibrators. The housing consists of separate sections having screening surfaces arranged, one underneath the other, inside of each section. Each section is suspended to a frame by means of flexible joints. Vibrators are mounted to each section. The screening surfaces of the separate sections are arranged at different inclinations and have different widths in the downward direction of motion of the material passing through the vibrating screen device.

Description

The invention relates to a vibrating screen consisting of a housing with screen surfaces which are arranged at an angle to one another and with vibrators.

Vibration sieves of this type are used for granulometric separation and sifting of bulk material, in particular in the mining and processing industry and in the construction industry.

A device known from SU-A-466055 for sifting bulk material consists of a housing with sieve surfaces arranged one below the other, which have different inclinations in the direction of movement of the bulk material. The housing is suspended from an immovable frame by means of flexible connections. A vibrator is attached to the housing.

With the known device, the sighting can be carried out only very slowly and inadequately. In addition, the structure of the device is complicated and it is difficult to operate. In addition, the dimensions of the facility are very large.

The invention has for its object to build the vibrating screen of the generic type so that it has high effectiveness and productivity and is easy to use and maintain.

This object is achieved by the vibrating sieve of the generic type, in which the housing consists of individual independent sections with sieve surfaces arranged one below the other, and each section is suspended on a frame by means of flexible connections, that the vibrators are attached to each section and that the sieve surfaces of the individual sections have different inclinations and widths in the direction of movement of the material to be screened.

The advantage of the vibrating screen according to the invention lies in the higher effectiveness of the screening, which is a result of the different widths and inclinations of the screen surfaces of the individual sections. The technical parameters of each section can be optimally regulated individually using the vibrators, so that the sieve as a whole can work with greater effectiveness.

  • Fig. 1 einen Längsschnitt durch ein Vibrationssieb und
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail with reference to a drawing. It shows:
  • Fig. 1 shows a longitudinal section through a vibrating screen and
  • FIG. 2 is a top view of the vibrating screen of FIG. 1.

An jeder Sektion 1 bzw. Die Einrichtung besitzt eine Einlaßöffnung 7 und Auslaßöffnungen 8.The vibrating sieve shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 consists of a housing with sieve surfaces which form an angle with one another, and of vibrators. The housing is divided into individual, independent sections 1 and 2 with sieve surfaces 3 arranged one below the other, each section 1 and 2 being suspended from a frame 4 by means of flexible elements 5. Vibrators 6 are attached to each section 1 or 2. The screen surfaces 3 of the individual sections 1 and 2 are arranged with different inclinations and different widths in the direction of movement of the material to be screened. The facility has an inlet opening 7 and outlet openings 8.

The vibrating screen works as follows:
The material to be screened is poured through the inlet opening 7 onto the upper screen surface 3 of section 1. As a result of the high-frequency vibrations, the material is moved over the screen surfaces 3 and separated into fractions, the smaller pieces sinking and the larger pieces rising to the surface of the goods. The material separated in this way reaches the second section 2 and the subsequent sections with a larger width and inclination of the screen surfaces and a higher vibration frequency. In this way, the viewing process is accelerated, without the need for an additional increase in the overall length of the screen. The material viewed moves from section to section in sequence over the sieve surfaces and bottoms to the outlet openings 8 of the last section 2. Each section is individually connected to the common frame 4 via its own flexible elements 5. Since each section is driven by an independent vibrator 6, it is possible to optimize the operating conditions individually for each section so that maximum operating effectiveness of the screen as a whole is achieved.
