Der Zapfen 28 sorgt dann, wenn der Motor 22 eingeschaltet ist, dafür, daß die Masageeinrichtungen 2 und 7 in horizontale Schwingungen versetzt werden. Dient die Massagefläche 2 als Bodenauflage (vgl. Fig. 1), dann werden die vom Exzenterantrieb erzeugten Schwingungen insbesondere auf die Auflage 7 übertragen, da die erste Massagefläche 2 in ihren Eckbereichen mit elastischen Stützfüßen 29 versehen ist, die den Hub der Massagefläche 2 dämpfen, sobald diese dem Gerät als Auflagefläche dient.A
