Claims (6)

1. Panier de coulée pour coulée continue horizontale comportant une tuyère distributrice (18) qui est fixée à une première paroi latérale (12a) d'un panier de coulée (10) et qui achemine du métal en fusion (14) jusqu'à une lingotière horizontale (16), le panier de coulée comprenant:
une tuyère de déversement (26) qui est fixée selon une position située en face, au niveau d'une partie inférieure d'une seconde paroi latérale (12b) du panier de coulée (10) opposée à la première paroi latérale (12a) et qui a un alésage de déversement (28) qui s'évase vers l'extérieur du panier de coulée (10) pour déverser une partie du métal en fusion (14) qui reste dans le panier de coulée (10);
un bouchon d'obturation (30) qui est adapté à l'alésage de déversement (28) et qui est inséré de façon amovible depuis l'extérieur du panier de coulée (10) à l'intérieur de l'alésage de déversement (28) de manière à pouvoir être adapté à l'intérieur de l'alésage de déversement (28) et à en être enlevé,
caractérisé par
un canal de coulée (22) qui a une ouverture (24) au travers de laquelle le métal en fusion (14) s'écoule à l'intérieur du canal de coulée (22) depuis le panier de coulée (10) situé au-dessus du canal de coulée (22), le canal de coulée (22) reliant la tuyère distributrice (18) à la tuyère de déversement (26).
2. Panier de coulée selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que l'ouverture (24) du canal de coulée (22) est positionnée à proximité de l'alésage de déversement (28).
3. Panier de coulée selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le canal de coulée (22) a une section transversale circulaire d'un diamètre D₁, en ce que l'ouverture (24) est circulaire et a un diamètre D₂ et en ce que le diamètre D₂ est égal à 0,7 à 1,2 fois le diamètre D₁, le diamètre D₂ étant au moins égal à 80 mm.
4. Panier de coulée selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le canal de coulée (22) a une section transversale circulaire de diamètre D₁, en ce que la lingotière (16) a une section transversale circulaire d'un diamètre D et en ce que le diamètre D₁ est égal à 0,5 à 2,0 fois le diamètre D, le diamètre D₁ étant au moins égal à 80 mm.
5. Panier de coulée selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le canal de coulée (22) est réalisé à partir de n'importe lequel des matériaux sélectionné parmi le groupe constitué par le zircon, la magnésie, le graphite d'aluminium et le graphite de magnésie.
6. Panier de coulée selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le bouchon d'obturation (30) est réalisé à partir de n'importe lequel des matériaux sélectionné parmi le groupe constitué par le zircon, la magnésie, le graphite d'aluminium et le graphite de magnésie.
