Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a support device for covers of tree trunks with at least one support surface supporting a cover. Such tree grate covers, also called tree grates, serve to cover the root area of trees that are in pathways or squares so that the tree grate surface remains permeable to water and air and the root area is not compressed. In order to avoid lowering the tree pane cover, these are supported by ring foundations of various designs. If these ring foundations are designed to be as small as possible to protect root growth, they will not adequately serve their purpose. They rise when exposed to frost and lower when loaded. If they are optimally designed according to the expected load and with regard to the desired freedom from frost, they hinder the root growth in such a way that the sense of the tree disc cover to create good growth conditions for the roots is reversed.
Furthermore, covers for tree trunks are known which are produced with the aid of metal frame structures and are essentially connected to one another, which are constructed in a comparatively complex manner and which cannot be used retrospectively in existing trees. Finally, the support devices used there can only be used for specifically fixed tree disc covers which are adapted to the supports.
It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a support device of the type mentioned at the outset which is simple to manufacture and which derives the load on the tree-pane cover and the load acting thereon in a frost-free depth below the root region of the tree and can support the tree-pane covers of various types. This object is achieved in that the support surface is connected to a support element which extends in a direction away from the support surface in the soil surrounding the tree and which is provided on its underside facing away from the cover with at least one pedestal.
This device has the advantage that it is no longer arranged in a ring around or under the tree disk, but radially, in accordance with the growth direction of the tree roots. The tree disc cover is supported at several points around the tree by radially extending support devices and the ballast is discharged into the ground. The support device, which is inserted radially at several locations under the tree-top cover, has a support surface for the tree-top cover that runs essentially parallel to the earth's surface and can be provided with connecting and fastening elements suitable for different types of tree top.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the support surface is provided with a kink-resistant support which extends into the soil under the root space and receives a support foot in frost-free depth, which is dimensioned so that it transfers the load into the ground without further into the Sink the ground.
Further details of the invention will become apparent from the following detailed description and the accompanying drawings, in which three embodiments of the invention are illustrated for example.

A support device of the type according to the invention essentially consists of a
The
The
The
The support device is used essentially as follows:
When a
Even with trees that have already been planted, it is possible to retrofit a tree disc cover. For this purpose, according to the dimensions of the support device, radial slot-like excavations are carried out in the direction of the
According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the
This embodiment is particularly advantageous to use with trees that have already been planted, since the support element with the
According to a further embodiment of the invention, the kink-
The
The
On its
In this embodiment, it is possible to bring about a better air and water supply to the root space of the
In all of the above-described embodiments of the invention, it is also possible to manufacture the
All embodiments of the innovation described above consist of corrosion and rot-proof material.
