Für die Befestigung eines Lautsprechers mit Metallkorb wird der Lautsprecher ebenfalls in Richtung senkrecht zur Ebene des Rahmens 1 aufgesetzt. Der Flansch des Lautsprechers trifft dabei zunächst auf die Ansätze 7 und bewirkt eine Auslenkung der federnden Vorsprünge 5 radial zur Öffnung 2. In der Endstellung greift der Flansch des Lautsprechers in die Schlitze 6 ein, und der Lautsprecher ist jetzt durch die Vorsprünge 5 an dem Rahmen 1 gehaltert. Diese Halterung ist keine endgültige Befestigung, sondern dient nur für eine Lagefixierung, auch pre-fixation genannt, in einer Lage, in der die Löcher des Flansches des Lautsprechers mit den Gewindebohrungen 8 übereinstimmen. Der Lautsprecher braucht für den Schraubvorgang dann nicht mehr gehalten zu werden, so daß der Bedienende beide Hände für den Schraubvorgang frei hat oder der Schraubvorgang mit Automaten erfolgen kann. Nach dieser Vor-Befestigung oder Lage-Fixierung des Lautsprechers werden zwei oder vier Schrauben durch die Bohrungen im Flansch des Lautsprechers manuell, mit einem Handschrauber oder mit Automaten in die Gewindebohrungen 8 eingedreht, wodurch die endgültige Befestigung des Lautsprechers an dem Rahmen 1 erfolgt. Die zur vorübergehenden Lage-Fixierung und Halterung dienenden Vorsprünge 5 haben dann für die Befestigung des Lautsprechers keine Bedeutung mehr. Die Vorsprünge 3 haben bei dieser Art der Befestigung an sich keine Bedeutung.
